So what about me..

well 1st of.. let me say hi..

So anyway, what about me.. this is kinda where i'm at with smoking and well in general. So i quit cold turkey a few years ago, but the problem was the occasional craving would come up, which would either be while i'm at work or at the bar. Like everyone else it sucked when you are sitting there and its 10 degrees outside and all and you just dont wanna go outside to smoke or your stress level is to the rough and you know you need one. My problem is, I didnt wanna go back to cigs now and well I have tried to just ignore the cigs all day, problem is when you work around them all day it's so easy to just buy one, go outside and smoke. I really just wanna not have to worry bout it but still get the feel you get when you have your cig, there is just something so calming about it.

So I have been researching off and on the ecigs, started with blu.. I always though blu was just expensive and like alot of people i thought it was a gimmick, until this past year, i have been researching more heavily the effects and all. And now that i've educated myself enough to feel comfortable with the ecig community and well products in general, there are so many brands.. OMG.. some have great batteries but horrible cart, others have horrible batteries but great flavors.. I went round and round..Then i narrowed down my choices between V2, Prosmoke, Greensmoke and Smokless image volt. Well Greensmoke was just outta my price range right now but they seemed to have the best overall reviews. V2 and Prosmoke seemed to be solid products but alot of mixxed reviews, but when all said an done i ordered the Volt.. Why? well price for 1, it was in my price range to break into the ecig market (and now with their holiday sale, its so much easier). 2) reviews, grant it their carts didnt always recieve the best reviews but the product overall seemed to be generally highly rated. So that made my decision.. Sounded too good to be true, so i said i will place my order and see if this is what i want. Well they had a watermelon flavor (dunno if its the best flavor but who doest love watermelon, im a watermelon flavor addict from candy to drinks))

So I am willing to give this a chance, hopefully Volt is what im looking for, cause it's more for something to take care of my cravings and not really do heavily and not put all the toxic nastyness in my system. Plus with the price of cigs today, who has that type of money??

Anyway, i appreciate any and all feedback on what you think i may or may not like.

Let me state when i use to smoke, i loved cloves, turkish blends and then (I cant remember the name) but those camel ones that had fruity flavors. So if there is anything you think i should try, please let me know.. there is so much out there, my head now hurts.

Hope to see you all around the forums.

Hi, and welcome to ECF! You made a great choice going with the Volt. They have great quality products, and great customer service. I haven't tried their juice, but have heard it's pretty good...lots of people like their classic grape flavor. Anyways, glad you came by...this is a great place to meet awesome people who will be more than willing to help you out on your vaping journey. Enjoy! :)

Welcome!!! There are indeed TONS of choices. Finding a good flavor is just as important as finding a good PV.
Give it time to let it all sink in. The best product to use, is going to be the one that works for you, & your vaping needs.
Everyone is a little different, but I have heard great things about the Ego-Twist . Consider the Vivi Nova for the tank.
So stoked I was able to quit smoking cigarettes and not have to be thinking about smoking 1000 times a day.
Anyways, congrats - and again, WELCOME! This place has soooo much information....Good Luck... :)

Hi and welcome! Glad to hear you dodged the Green Smoke bullet. Of the "cig-a-likes" (devices similar in size and shape to a tobacco cigarette) Volt seems to be the one most recommended by ECF members who've used them. The JoyeTech eRoll (known as the Ovale eMini is some markets) also gets good reviews. You can find videos about both of them on youtube. Happy Vaping!

Hi. I'm new to vaping and ECF too. I bought a Joyetech E-Cab, hoping it would help me to cut back the number of cigarettes I was smoking, and I was very surprised by how much better e-cigs have gotten in just the last couple of years. I haven't completely quit analogs (regular cigarettes) yet, but I might as well have. It's been two weeks now and I've gone from being a 2 PAD smoker to smoking no more than 2 cigarettes on any given day...and some days I haven't smoked at all. In the last two weeks I have smoked less than one pack of cigarettes.:D

I am excited and thrilled with just how easy vaping is making it for me to put the analogs down. I've been smoking for 32 years, and I haven't been able to quit for more than a week or two at a time over the last ten years or so. I wasn't even planning to quit, but several times over the last two weeks I have found myself with a cigarette and lighter in my hands thinking, "ewww, I don't want that" and putting the cigarette back in the pack.
