I was a smoker for 33 years until I started vaping on June 30th 2013. My friend took me to a local vape shop here in Las Vegas and Ive been hooked since. I know it hasnt been that long but I know without a doubt I will never go back to what you call analog cigs again.

I wish this vaping technology was around 30 years ago as I probably would not be facing the challenge I have right now. In November of 2011 during a routine physical for my job I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and sadly I was already at stage 4 when I was diagnosed. Im sure I got it because of smoking but all my friends who smoke of course say people who never smoked in their life get lung cancer...lol... I really didnt have a choice I grew up with parents and grandparents who smoked and grew up in the 60's 70' 80's when smoking was "cool".

I dont know what the effects of vaping will do to my lungs but I figured its got to be better than real cigs. And besides the damage is done, so Im going to enjoy the short time I have left on this earth and vape till I drop....lol

The day I started I bought an itaste mvp... It was good but my friend wanted to try so I sold him the itaste and bought myself a Provari with a Kangertech Pro tank. I really like it. Now im in search of the perfect Ejuice. A task that is turning out to be harder than I thought...lol..

Anyway, I'm done rambling..... :)

Welcome to ECF to both of you!

Other than being significantly less harmful than inhaling carbonized plant matter.....

Indeed, as mentioned, go back to that local vape shop and try some different juices. While you may not stick with them (there are many juice vendors on line, and generally lower per ml), it's a great way to start to find out what kinds of flavors you like.

And find out what that friend likes to vape, and get him a bottle of juice for a tip! :toast:
