Hey, I've casually smoked on and off but not too much. Anyways I figured I'd give ecigs a go. I noticed a kiosk at the mall that was selling "smoking everywhere" ecigs. They were wuite pricey but I researched a little and decided I was probably going to get the Smoking everywhere GOLD edition (i guess the 3.0?) starter kit.

Whats the thoughts on it?
IS it any good?

Are the cartridges for the GOld or 3.0 easy to find? I really just want the vanilla ones.

When they refer to the extra 5 cartridges that come with the starter kit are those completely empty? or tobacco flavor etc?

Im getting the starter kit for $50. Hopefully thats a good investment. I researched blu but for some reason that damn blue tip really threw me off lol. Any tips, advice etc would be great as to this brand. The main reason I think Im going to purchase this one is because they have a local kiosk at the mall so it would be easy to purchase refils without waiting.

Well, just so you know, for the convenience of the mall you pay almost 10x the price for the refills. Buying e-juice and refilling yourself is MUCH cheaper, and the juice can be had for a LOW price from MANY reputable vendors. I suggest you read Don's article about getting started in e-smoking, it has a lot of VALUABLE information. It is in 6 parts, ALL in the ecf library

Welcome to ECF lghtnsurf. You've come to the right place. There are many more choices than SE and the blu. I'd recommend reading this thread as a starting place. You're likely to pay more for less at many kiosks (though there are exceptions to that)

Hopefully someone else will follow up and post the link to the thread that talks about the best e-cigs for a new user.

edit- we all posted at once :)

Hey thanks, Yea I'm gonna start reading that stuff. Also whats PV stand for? Lastly do you guys have any tips as for nice sleek looking ecigs, and ones that preferable come in a starter kit?

PV is personal vaporizer... Just a more accurate term than electronic cigarette. I highly recommend the Joye eGo kit.

I just ordered the VK starter kit, haven't even gotten it yet, however after so much reading I already want to get the 510 and the EGO! LOL
I probably will eventually :)

You will love the VaporKing. I have an Ego, like it for its battery life, but I prefer using the VaporKing. Name an e cig, and it is probable that I have bought it over the last 1 1/2 years of vaping.

Hey thanks for all the heads up. Ok so I did some reading around and eh I ended up getting the SE GOLD one. :s I was planning on getting the joye super mini i think? but I did a live chat with Smoking everywhere and ha they try and cut you deals liek crazy. They charge $100 for the GOLD one (3.0) but I saw it around for liek $47. I talked them down to this:

2x SE GOLD ONES Starter Kits
1x Cartridge of Medium Vanilla
1x Cartridge of Low Vanilla
Total Price=$110.00

SO I got 2 3.0's for the price of one plus the extra cartridges.

I figured I decided I'll just do that and hold on to the spare and see if anyone wants to buy it or trade for another type.

Just a few more questions. They gave me the extra cartridges but how do I fill up ones with custom flavors and all? Do I need to buy empty cartridges?

Also if anyones interested in the other GOLD ONE I have just let me know. Its the full kit. They said I'll get it in 3 days or so.

I still plan on getting a joye.

The next set of tips is usually about stalking the mailman. I'm not sure of the appropriate stalking procedure if you'll be picking yours up at the mall.

But, just keep reading, posting and exploring. And while you're at it you could follow the link in my signature and sign the petition if you haven't already.

oh, and pick up some juice.

Those darn SE guys are sneaky! I'm just gonna tell it like it is. You've been had! One SE Gold kit comes with 1 ecig and some carts and a charger. Soy you just paid $110 for 2 kits when you could have paid $35 dollars for just as much AND a better product from cignot.com. I started with a 510 kit and still use the attys on my BB (from altsmoke.com). Sorry to be the one to tell you. SE doesn't have a very good rep around here.

Thank you, NP. I think the rest of us just didn't have the heart to break the truth to the OP. But most of us usually make a few poor buying choices before finding this forum.
