Hi everyone,

I am new to Ecigs but I do vape. I have been investigating a new area. I have seen a few people talking of tinctures from herbs like Camomile, blue lotus, etc. Are there any instructions to make these or is there somewhere I can get these. I also see people using tanks like the T2 is the best method to vape these? Any advice welcome.

Welcome. AFAIK most tinctures are based on using the essential oils of the plant in question. Now with this in mind, and from what I've read, you do NOT want to be vaping oil based e juice flavourings.

I use the T2 for most of my juices and they work wonderfully in my opinion. It does take a bit of trial and error in the beginning though. Also, keep in mind that the initial startup can get expensive REALLY quick. (I dropped $400 in a week) but I have enough juice to last me a few months now, three ego twists and two ego mini batteries, as well as seven Kanger T2s and five Kanger T4s plus replacement heads for the T2 and I STILL want more haha.

You've been warned :)

edit: I somehow missed you already vape, so I'm sure you know most of what I said already :)

Tinctures are an alcohol based extract, not essential oil. It's fairly easy to make tinctures, just need Chamomile, or whatever plant you intend to use (make sure the plant itself is not toxic). Pack a jar with said plant material, and cover with a high proof alcohol, the higher the better (I use Everclear). Shake it every day, keep it somewhere dark, and after a couple weeks filter the liquid, and store it in a dark bottle (toss the solids). That's all a tincture is.

Personally I have never made any DYI juice, I make tinctures for herbal medicine. I do plan on getting into that aspect at some point, but right now as far as vaping tinctures I'm clueless. There is a sub-forum here for DYI, you may have better luck with them.
