New to forum and have questions about flying with e-cig USA

Should have mine in time for an upcoming flight from LA to AZ and was wondering what I need to do to be able to take my ecig with me? Not looking to use it onboard, but just be able to have it at the ready when I land.

While I have yet to even try the product, will have more questions of which is the best replacement for my brand which is Kamel Red Lights.

Saw that forum, but TSA has clamped down so much since 12/2010, that most of the info there is prior to that time.

I don't want to have mine taken by TSA if I can avoid it.

The travel forum has some threads that are pretty up to date. The short version is that your batteries should be in your carry on, juices either checked or in your quart-sized plastic baggie. Carts/cartos/chargers can be checked or carried on. Pass throughs can be iffy, since they can look scary in the x-ray. TSA seems to rarely have questions- but if they do, just explain politely.

I've never had any problems, but always take everything apart. I typically put the e-cigs in the pen slots in my backpack or briefcase, but I also usually have an assembled box-mod, which I would think looks mighty suspicious on an x-ray.

Anything that looks like a remote control device with a switch on it will be suspect. I'd just pack it all in that suitcase and not have to deal with TSA inspections of your carry on items.
