First of all I want to say hello to everyone.
I've been reading over this forum a lot over the last few days, and have to say I'm very interested in trying this.
I smoke 15-20 Marlboros a day. I enjoy smoking but a healthier alternative would be great because I definitely feel it's affecting my health. The idea of spending some/all of my cigarette money on something like an electronic cigarette that lets me smoke anywhere and might save me some money is too good to pass up.

So I did a lot of reading and decided to buy one of the e-cigarillos from e-cig. I found that nobody is shipping e-liquid right now because of the Olympics, so figured cartridges would work until I could order some liquid. It seems my Chase bank card automatically declines their website. Anyone else had this problem? I tried it a few times and it would not go through, so cancelled my order. I was going to call my bank the next day to see what was wrong. That night I looked at some other websites, and ran into http://www.ruyanhealth.com. I saw one of their e-cigars (the ones with the Chinese writing on them) for $63 with free shipping. This was more appealing than the almost $30 in shipping I was going to pay at e-cigs so I decided to go with it. I got the Titanium e-cigar http://www.ruyanhealth.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=78&products_id=254 with 50 full strength cartridges. I used a direct bank debit using my paypal account. So with the 3 days for that to clear, plus the 7-10 day shipping it will be a while before I get it. I wanted to order another battery but they didn't have one for that model on their website. So what do you guys think? If I get at least the same use out of it as 1.5 cartons of cigarettes I got my money's worth... ;)

I'll follow up and give you my impressions when I get it.
I'd also like to say that your forum has been really helpful, and I have learned a lot about e-cigarettes over the last few days.

Can you tell us where you're from? That might help with shipping questions.

I'll answer what I can for you. :D Just be grateful the e.cig thing fell through. When I first dealt with them, I didn't have any problems...now I'm having nothing but. The e-cigar I ordered from them was dead on arrival. It would cost me more to send it back to them than I paid for it. Not even worth it.

They just now answered my question about a package, but I had to ask on their public forum because they never answer emails. So, customer service sucks the big dog.

About the ordering. I had the same problem. dnakr advised I call the bank. I did and it was worked out. HOWEVER, let me advise you with something else dnakr said. Even though you didn't see it go through, make SURE that the funds don't have a hold on it for your order. Just because you didn't see the charge immediately doesn't mean it didn't go through. E.cig does that sometimes. So check with your bank to make sure that didn't happen.

About the ruyanhealth cigars, I personally am not a cigar smoker, but I have thought about ordering one for my husband since the e-cig one turned out to be a huge disappointment. :( When you get it, make sure you post a review! :D

I think you did yourself a big favor bishybob, on changing what you ordered. Your end-choice is one of the big favourites in the netherlands; and they are a pretty critical bunch with lots of choices at their disposal.
Still, even with this good choice: if you are getting serious about going to e-smoking, you will still need a back-up device. Even the best devices do still have occasional flaws, and can have to be sent back. You don't want to be forced back to tobacco when that happens...

I would advise you to look at other cigars for this though (or perhaps the new cigarillo from Janty when it comes)(or two blings of course - that's the nickname btw that these chinese-letters-cigars are known by) if you want compatability in the spare parts you will want to buy. All cigars that I know of use the exact same batteries - so also chargers - for instance; and I think (less sure) all have the exact same size of lid too. Plus they can almost all use each others cartridges (take care there though: the better brands don't allow use of e-Cig liquid or cartridges in their devices, it can cost you your guarantee if you do; they will generally allow the use of other brand cartridges coming from the 'top-pool' though [sedansa, janty, ruyan, partysmoker are those I know about]).

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not really a cigar smoker either. I'll have one every month or so just for fun. I wanted to get a cigar style because I thought it would be easier to find batteries for it, and I was hoping it would be a little more durable. My impression from reading your forums is that they taste the same as any other e-cigarette, so it's just a matter of what feels right in your hand.

Thanks for the URL, dnakr. I'll bookmark that site to buy batteries later. $4.32 for two of them is a really good price.

As far as getting a backup e-cigarette. I want to make sure I even like this thing first, but if I do, I would probably get a cig or cigar from Crown 7. They're in Arizona too which helps with the shipping issue, and I've heard good things about their customer service.

That answers your other question... I live in the U.S. Tucson, Arizona.

I wonder what the "Bling" Ruyan cigars say on them? It must be important to have the whole thing covered in writing. My fiance is in Japan right now. I'll send her a picture of it and see if one of her roommates can translate it.

I got an automated message from my bank today, telling me to call their automated system to authorize some transactions. There were three for $1 (probably when I tried adding my card to Paypal). I authorized them. No request from e-cigs though. The $65 cleared my bank today from the Paypal e-check.

Thanks again.

Circumstances pushed you to a good decision. Keep us posted on how Mr. Bling works. Of all my devices, the e-cigar has the best "feel". It's not a big vapor producer, but it feels just right in my hand. I use it daily. Note that there is an adjustment period for e-smoking during which you might think it's not for you. Keep at it for a week and chances are you'll love it.
