First off I wish I would have known about this forum before I went and bought my vaping supplies and to find out more about vaping in general.

There is one thing I am having trouble with and that is after vaping I still want to have a cig :( Not sure if it's the strength I am using or my brain still is looking for all the rest of the garbage I have been inhaling for all these years.

I am determined to stick with the vaping, but if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Rhia

First: what mg nic are you using?
Second: type of device?
Third: how often are you vaping?

When starting vaping, we tend to vape like we smoked. Doesn't work that way. Think more along the line of wearing the patches. With the patches, you get a constant dose of nic. Vaping is similar, just don't vape constantly, ALL day. You definitely need to vape more frequently.

I don't vape for let's say seven minutes then wait an hour and vape for another seven. I pretty much have my PV in my hand all the time. Just holding it and taking a vape every minute or so.

You definitely want to keep the nic level up so you don't have the crash to where you are craving nic.

Hope this helps somewhat. :)

hi rhia and welcome to the forum, congratulations on the switch and we're glad you found us

don't worry too much about either of the issues you've presented...the one time cost of an overly priced e cig got you started so look at it as a one time quitting fee...you can easily get that money back once you've found something that works as vaping cost can be way cheaper than smoking

on the issue of continuing to have real cigs...this happens to most of the newbs on ecf....its ok as long as it doesnt last more than i'd say a month

i think you should stick with 24mg doses of liquid until you completely quit real cigs ...you can step down later if you like but the important thing is working towards getting them out from your life completely

you might also require a device that is better or more powerful than what you have

if you tell us what you have we can recommend an alternative but dont worrry too much about the first few weeks and still smoking the cigs...its part of the process for most
