Hi AngiBe: I recognize you from the Halo forum which I stumbled on. All my stuff I bought from Halo. I overbought my juices in panic mode - same as you 6 bottles of 30ml at 6mg when i was happy with the 12mg samplers I first bought. I was semi-smart enough to include an 18mg bottle of fusion but it seems to dilute the flavors to get them back to the 12mg that was working. Plus I thought I would love the Captain Jack which I didn't get a sampler of and of course bought the 30ml bottle - just tried it and BARF CITY - hopefully if will mellow out with steeping - pain in the ... don't you think. I really enjoy vaping away mindlessly in the evening
with the Longhorn and Tribeca while watching TV and I got a Sub Zero menthol that really cleans up any congestion I get.

Yep! Right there with ya! I got several bottles of Fusion too, so may try to tone down the nic level first before buying six more bottles of flavors in 6 mg. I was worried about it diluting the flavor. And for some dumb reason, I actually have a bottle of 24 mg Fusion??!!?? WTH was I thinking???

whitehighlights: Thanks- nice to know someone else is on pace with me. Right now my once yummy vapes ae tasting like crap - I FEAR I HAVE OVERVAPPED - I need to plan in some NO VAPPING BREAKS in my daily routine. You didn't mention if you have kept off the analogs - are you making it I hope?

LOL Collie. I saw the posts about overbuying at different levels & I did a bit of that too. I thought I'd need 18mg so I ordered some small bottles and samples. Oops - 18mg is too much so I had to order some 6mg to bring the level down on the ones that I liked! I'm vaping more than I was but I'm not getting the nic overload.

No analogs for me! I forced myself to stay with the Blu, even though it wasn't satisfying and constantly changing the batteries was a pain, until my kit came & haven't looked back since. YEAH!

Are you drinking enough water? So far drinking water along with vaping, changing up flavors during the day & eating spicy food (which I love) seem to be keeping my taste buds refreshed. I really want to avoid the dreaded vapors tongue if I can!

Am I the only person that didn't have a learning curve with the inhale? Aside from holding it in my mouth and exhaling through my nose; this is already how I smoked analogues...
My learning curve was more equipment based. Learning how to maintain and really properly make use of the components.

I didn't either. My smoking technique was the same as the vaping technique.
Although, I think I probably hold vapor in my mouth quite a bit longer than I did smoke... to savor the flavor.

Seriously, FAQ sticky(s) in New Members forum? I have no problem answering the same questions 5-Times a day. . Obviously, I have the time and don't have any hesitation in doing so, but it would be good for the lurkers if anything.

Reading over that, some people might think I'm a pompous ....... they're probably right.:)

Not as long as you:)..feels like I've been on ECF a lot longer than two months though.. I don't know what that says in regards to my post.

Seriously though. I love the New Members forum and I'm often surprised at how well informed many of the newcomers are.

Once in a while, though, you run into people who won't even bother to do a simple Google search for anything--a definition of a cartomizer or a list of vendors who carry Vision Spinners... That can be trying.

And nobody reads the stickies--that's a well-known fact. :D

I wish I knew vaping would turn into a hobby.

My mantra:
I started vaping for the NECESSITY (quitting the stinkies....)......
I continue vaping for the PLEASURE!!!:D
For me, vaping is necessary for me to stay off cigs....if I stop vaping, I KNOW I'll go back to smoking!!!:(
Akin to those so afflicted stopping 12 Step meetings....Guess what happens????!!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I started with disposables and wanted a cheaper route so I started researching the fillable's. I finally settled on the EGO-T, after I received them I found that the atomizer's are a pain and there is this EGO-C that has replaceable heads, so I upgraded and have no problems. As far as inhaling, the only problem I have is when I try something new, I'm not sure how hard the throat hit will be so I start out with small hits and gradually take larger hits until I cough, then back off.

The learning curve that I had to deal with was identifying the nuances/differences between cartomizer, atomizers, tanks, tanks with cartomizers, smilomizers, ect. My head was exploding with 'izers' and different types of connections, 510, 808, 306, and hybrid. Also I wish I had a better understanding of electric current as that is very helpful with building coils. I wish I found phil busardo quicker as well as Fasttech. I also wish I would of purchased quality devices and and not so many cheap ones as I have wasted plenty of money trying to save a buck. Research pays off, do not try menthol juice if you never liked menthol cigarettes. Battery risk assessments. Good juice vendors can be expensive to find on your own and it pays to join coop group buys. Find a vaping facebook group that you like and participate in the community, it keeps you in the know of what is good and what is overrated.

go lower menthol if you don't like menthol cigs...my FAVORITE vape now is menthol..I HATE menthol...but just a hint of menthol kicks up the favor 100 fold! Too much and I get headaches 2% seems to be the sweet spot for me

Oh and just like everyone else...if I had known about ECF when I started...I wouldn't have done the EXACT same thing everyone else is doing...

I just hope all our "experiences" help everyone else

When I give people advice, I usually follow it with "ask me how I know" because well...been there, done that, got the scars and the shirt to prove it! :D
