Hi,

I just thought I'd say a quick hello to all.
My name is Paul, I am 38 and have been vaping exclusively (no more ciggies) for 4 days now.

My hardware includes:
Kanger EVOD kit (2xEVOD Clearomisers, 2x650mah Batteries)
And just yesterday I picked up a Vision Spinner 1300mah Rainbow battery and a Kanger ProTank3.

I've not used the new hardware yet, waiting for the kids to go back to school tomorrow and then will take my time setting it up with a juice.

I stopped smoking the day I started vaping after trying EVERYTHING else. Laser, patches, gum, sprays, Champix (Chantax I think in the US), hypnosis, cold turkey.

vaping has changed me, I enjoy the taste of the juice I have (meant to be Mango but tastes like those Fuzzy Peach candies), I love the technology and that it can be a hobby. I love the fact I can work the nicotine out of my system and still vape with 0 nicotine.

Really looking forward to asking questions and gaining more knowledge so I can continue this wonderful thing.

Congratulations on quitting cancersticks!

Hang on and read, read, read. You've made a great choice to give vaping a try.

10½ months without a puff of smoke here. #IMPROOF that vaping works :)

Mostly old info, much of the hardware has changed but there's much good info at ECF Infozone -

Congratulations! It sounds like you are well on your way. Attitude and the "want to" make a big difference. And it is indeed a wonderful thing.:)

Paul, we are vaping twins! I started with the egos and Evod clearomizers, too. And I just got a couple of Vision Spinners. We are both set up for success. The Evods work great on the Spinner.

Congratulations. I know exactly what you mean. I tried using chantix, the gum, patches, cold turkey as well. Only the ecig worked for me. Stopped smoking on July 4, 2012 and haven't had a cig yet. Noticed how much better I felt after about a month. Really recognized how much healthier I was after surviving my first winter in years without getting bronchitis or pneumonia. Ordered a provari 7/8/12 and still use it every day, dripped into an HH.357 dripping atomizer for the majority of my time. Just now getting into mech mods and rebuildables. Enjoy this amazing hobby!

I'll say "Hi Paul !!" while I am jumping on the ECF welcome wagon. Glad you found and joined us. Congrats on being analog free. That is a HUGE accomplishment. I hope you find the folks here to be as friendly, supportive and knowledgeable as I have found them to be.

We like to celebrate success' and help each other through our challenges. Sounds like you are on a very successful vaping path and I hope you continue to enjoy the experience and believe you can remain analog free.

I've only been riding this horse for not quite 5 months, so am also relatively new. Started with eGo-t upgraded batteries and Kanger MT3S clearos and the only change I have made was to switch to Vision Spinner batteries as my juice collection expanded because each juice seems to have its own sweet spot. Your gear will serve you well. As I was suggested to me, get backups for your gear and backups for your backups. I never want a dead battery or equipment failure to give me an excuse to go back to analogs.

Again, welcome. Keep the vape and namaste.
