Hi fishwater, welcome to Reoville. I'm just stopping in to warn you that what everyone is saying about Reo-itis is true. Everywhere else on the forum it's known as shinyitis but once you try a reo it morphs into something new. I suggest you start saving up now. :D

The one question/problem I do have is the rubber o-ring on the bottle in the Grand. I have tried to thread the cap on with the o-ring seated into the cap so it sits on top of the bottle under the cap but can't seem to get it to sit flush??? It gets sucked into the top nozzle part of the cap when I squonk so I removed it.

Common prob with a new bottle and rubber washer. Just don't over tighten the bottle for awhile. Just enough to seal but don't over turn it. Eventually the rubber ring will expand enough once its broken in to seal right when real tight.

Prob a week or 2 at most.. you'll forget about it before you notice heh.

You might be putting the cap on too tight. Just snug. Sounds like it is too tight and creating a vacuum when you squonk.

The cap remains on the tubing when you remove the bottle. You don't have to remove the cap. The o-ring remains in the cap.

O-ring? What O-ring? I've already forgotten. Did the old bend the door trick, figured out how to seat that pesky o-ring & this thing is humming. I'm really pleased! Since I do know the rules on the interwebz, pics or it didn't happen....

Did another build last night but with 26AWG to get closer to .5, this thing just goes & goes! I swapped my battery when I changed bottles & it was still close to half life, pretty impressive. I can see my Snow Wolf & SMY sitting lonely in a corner....This is the first mod where I feel like I don't need to bring a spare wherever I go for fear out of something failing. I'm looking forward to my trip to Vegas next week, no worries about being stranded now. Thanks Reo!!!!!

Yep - they're the ultimate in reliability. They're also easy to maintain in the field, should the need arise. You might want to consider taking a spare spring on trips as an accident from a short is about the only thing I've ever seen anyone being downed by.
