Hey Guys,

Just recently decided to get into mixing up some of my own juice and I've had a good look through some other posts and can't quite find the info I need so hopefully someone can help.

I've bought myself 100ml of PG-60/VG-40 48MG nicotone juice to mix with flavoured 0mg juice.

I'm after 12mg nicotine in my juice so if I was to mix 5ml of my 48mg nicotine juice + 15ml of the 0mg flavoured juice I should have 20ml of 12mg flavoured juice yes?

Thanks in Advance!

You have it right.
Not sure why the main answer here is usually "there's a calculator for that" even with something as simple as ohms law.

Yeah, you need a juice calculator. The juice calculators include all the variables and "targets", then provide the "formulas" and recipes to get there. If you have never done it before, the math is quite tricky, and, even if you could do the math, you still have to keep the formula/recipe somewhere, and these calculators can do all of that and more. Any time you are mixing nicotine levels higher than 36mg/ml, the calculator also insures that you don't accidentally make a mistake that could make you quite sick. That being said, it's pretty hard to overdose on nicotine, since all you have to do is stop vaping when you become nauseous. Anyway, the calculators solve a bunch of problems, are easy to use, and I seriously doubt that most people could get it right the first time without one, particularly if you are targeting a nicotine dilution to a PG/VG mix (ratio) with varying amounts of flavoring (usually PG). Very unlikely, indeed. I have used the ejuicemeup calculator since day one, and find it invaluable.

Yep, I always recommend a calculator.
This particular question WAS super simple - but it gets VERY QUICKLY easily confusing.
(you got it right, 5x48/20=12 mg/ml)
(But even here, what's the PG/VG content of the 0 nic juice? And you mean it's a pre-mixed flavored juice, not a flavoring, right? You're diluting your flavored juice quite a bit...)

The minute you add a flavoring, you impact the both the PG/VG and nic levels.
The calculator prevents errors dealing with stuff like that!

This calculator works great, been using it for quite a while now. A little confusing at first but once you figure it out it's quite easy.

There are different versions of the calculator to choose from depending on your mixing needs. I use this one:

DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavor's With Nicotine Plus PG/VG Adjusting

You can select number of flavors and adjust PG/VG percentage. It also gives you a cost breakdown if you enter the prices of all your ingredients.

I name and save my recipes for future reference.
