new to modding and the forum

Hey everybody,

i'm new to the forum and have a question on moding. i watched a video on the detinator mod, and i atempted to get er done. wired it up with 510 connector, power LED, fireing LED and switch. the switch and the LEDs came with their own resistors but i did not wire them in. the mod wont fire, could someone point me to a wiring diagram?

You could check the modding section of ECF and see if someone has a wiring diagram.

Note - if this is in a battery box, make sure the metal around the on/off is not shorting to the edge of the battery or the metal tab the battery touches.

You are using protected mod batteries like protected 14500 or CR2's or something, not AA's right? because grocery store batteries cannot put out enough current to drive an atomizer or cartomizer.

She has a simple wiring diagram in that video as well, just pause and study It's not for the detinator, but I thought it might help. You do need to use the resistors to protect the components, and you should have some capacitors to even out the voltage outputs.
