hello! ive been vaping for about a month now and the idea of learning to build my own mod, atomizer and e liquids sounds so interesting (and saving money is probably the biggest reason i want to learn because i herd its so much cheaper). correct me please if im wrong but wont mech mods and RBA last forever?

while i understand i have much to learn and wont be buying a mech mod or RBA for some time i do have a couple of questions.

first off safety, i plan on buying a nemesis clone from fasttech as ive herd thats probably the best mod fasttech has to offer. (ive tried looking at how to build my own at home depot and cant find anything =/) is there anything i could add onto the nemesis mod that would allow for some margin of error? or should i get something else, something better for a beginner? i want some that will last virtually forever.

second thing, RBA im looking for something that will be easy for a first time builder, something possible with a tank. i love my protank mini 3, im hoping to find something similar to that. any ideas?

sorry for the long posting.

Hi Coryy...

The best FT has to offer currently IMO, is the mixed Stingray. It tends to change near daily... so when you are ready to buy, look at all listings before you commit. When they do a mixed copper or brass "all tubes" GP Paps, that might be very nice.

 You don't know much about mech mods, but you want to build your own, from, I presume, plumbing parts? I'd hold that thought for awhile - OK. :)

is there anything i could add onto the nemesis mod that would allow for some margin of error?
A Kick regulator... or, keep your builds above 1.3Ω until you know more about resistance and battery amperage parity. See the hyperlink in my second sig line below.

Rebuild the PT3 for awhile until you have that down... if you can recoil in that little space, RTAs are cake. The Kayfun KFL+, Kebo Russian R91% and Taifun GT are all very easy to build.

sorry for the long posting. I'll survive it. ;-)

Not much to add to the previous post.

An original mod would probably last loner then a FT clone and a SS mod would probably last longer then a copper one.
A kick adds regulation but would fry if you put the battery backwards.
You could still use your old pt3 with a nemesis even without a kick if you rebuild your coils to 1.5-1.6 ohm just get ready to replace batteries a lot more.
And yes you should start by rebuilding your pt3.
Irecommend starting with 29 or 28 awg kanthal and not 32 and to use cotton and not silica.
