New to RDA and first setup

Hello all, I went and bought a smoktech rda octopus today and just got it setup.

Questions is I am using my evic and running 2.0 ohm on the stock coil. Running 7.6w.

What is a good watt or voltage setup? How high can I go? How many time before I have to red rip?

Next is is the added side hole near the top a must for a better experience?

Can i do micro coils with an evic? 1.0 ohm coils? Bought some 32 gauge kanthol wire. Any good recommendations for my first rebuild?

So, with an eVic, you are limited only by the power output of the mod. I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but I imagine it's somewhere in the vicinity of 15 W. Can you run micros on an eVic? Absolutely! Just make sure to keep your resistance sufficiently high such that the mod will be able to handle it. For most mods (like my ProVari) the limit is around 1.0 ohm. YMMV.

In all honesty, the voltage/wattage you run at is all about your personal preference. If you like hotter vapes or more vapor, take it up a notch until it's comfortable. Don't like it so hot? Take it down. It's all up to you. The beautiful thing about VV/VW devices is that you very easily change the power you are vaping at (as opposed to mechs, where your only method of changing power is to re-wrap a coil).
