hi guys, I'm using Magma, most of my juices are 70%VG.
Whenever I drip juices on the coil, the first 10-15 hits are always very harsh and strong which I really don't like.
But after that, every hits are very smooth and enjoyable, what should I do? Thanks:D
Please forgive my trash English, love u all <3

PS: all juices are 12MG nic

Are you using a mech mod, and if so, have you taken into account the rate of discharge for your net resistance and battery?

Do you know the "heat flux" of your build... or the "heat capacity"? It may be that your build is a bit "cold" and not able to stabilize the rate of coil / wick contamination via an adequate peak temperature and temp dwell time. What do your coil and wick look like after 15 draws... 30 draws?

Are your juices dark and/or sweet? Caramelization and solids residue build-up on coils and wick can serve to insulate and slow the rise of coil temperatures.

Hy OP, assuming that this happens to you on a new setup, it should be normal, it's called the break in period. Try to vaporize liquid without vaping in the beginning or expetiment with different types of wire as they have different break in periods; kanthal a1 or a, nichrome 60 or 80, titanium grade 1, ss 316 or 317. Also in my experience my throat adjusts to the hit as I start my day and in couple of hours I end up hardly feeling it. Hope this helps. And your English is not bad also :)

What is the Ohm of your build and are you using mechanical or regulated device for power? The Magma is a very small chambered atomizer and it has limited airflow so the temperature of the vape on this atty can be a considerable bit hotter than on another atomizer using the same ohm build and this if run on a mech mod it can give a harsh hit until the voltage drops some on the power cell. I find the lowest ohm build that is pleasurable from start to finish on this atty for me anyways is right around a .35-.40 ohm otherwise I get too hot of a vape and dry hits. The other thing is if it is too strong for you try running a lower nicotine level. I love this atty for custard type flavors I run 10/90 VG 2mg nicotine in this RDA where as I like my Darkhorse or Hobo @.15-.20 ohms with 10/90VG 4mg nicotine with fruit type flavors due to more airflow capacity.

Maybe you're over dripping? Is the bottom of the coil in the liquid?

This.

I often like the fulllllly saturated vape off a soggy coil, but most people (and, from the sounds of it, you too) don't. Plus, it can make things splashy in smaller rdas.
Anyhow, just drip a little less. Don't let your wicks dry out, obviously, but your wick doesn't have to be swimming for you to vape it.

You're overdripping. I have the same problem all the time.

Only put enough liquid in to fully saturate the cotton/coil. Don't have it so there is a ton of liquid sitting in there with it; the coil will cook that non-absorbed juice and give harsh hits.

If you have an RDA where the posts are raised off the deck quite a bit (Holmes RDA by Cigreen is a good example) you can overdrip without worry because the coil won't be surrounded by liquid. Actually, I thought the Magma coils were raised from the juice well too? Not as much as the Holmes, but I still thought it was out of the way enough. I guess I'm mistaken
