Let me start by saying I started with one of those horrible gas station ego knock off e cigs with a refillable tank and ive slowly worked my way up and I'm now using a istick 50 with a kanger sub tank. it works nice for me and I tried to rebuild with the rebuildable deck it comes with but any one who has every tried knows that its weak and doesn't wick very well so I gave up right away. the other day I went into my vape shop and the guy was telling me how I should try rebuildables and drippers. so I decided to give it shot and bought a haze mini. ive built a couple coils that worked well usually ohm out to .4 to .6. I'm looking for ideas from people with a similar setup or tips to make my setup better. I use 26 kanthal with 7 to 9 wraps on a 3.0 coil. I want to get the biggest clouds without having to get an unregulated mod cause I really don't feel comfortable using them. any suggestions welcome.

You can get a bigger cloud with a regulated mod because you can pump the power up above the voltage of the battery, and also get a consistent voltage while the battery drains. As for technique, how technical do you want to get? Do you have a drill and some time to kill? You could try twisted coils, vertical coils.. Look up builds on YouTube for your rda or models like it and see what other people are doing and try it out. That's the fun part for me anyways. Play with coil diameter, juice ratios, etc.. The options are endless. Eventually you'll find what works best for you.

0.5ohms at 50w it's what I'm running my RDA on everyday. I find it enjoyable. I've built on the subtank mini RBA deck and had no problems with vaping on it or wicking. If you're twisting wire and getting too low then do more wraps...

Twisted 28g, 3.0mm diameter, 10 wraps per coil for a dual coil build should put you at 0.5-0.6 ohms. Plus you don't need a drill to twist kanthal. It doesn't do it as tight as a drill does, but you don't need a drill.

The ipv 4s is on sale on sites for like 60 bucks.
I was looking at picking up the ipv4s. Its a nice style and feels good holding it but I read some blogs of people talking about issues with batteries failing because of the device so its got me a little skeptical. I mean I know just because I read it doesn't make it true. it very well could have been rewrapped batteries but ive seen batteries explode and I like my hands and face.
