Got an aga t+ on provari at around 2.8 to 3.0 ohms. I followed the videos the best I could. It's a straw wick btw and I just don't seem to be getting a lot of flavor. Will it break in or is that just the nature of ss? I had the cap off and tilted and fired. Had some juice popping so I tightened down the full screw. I originally left it loose because I was expecting poor wicking but the juice pop tells me too much juice but I could be wrong. It's 100% Vg juice. Any tips appreciated

with a straw wick you will get explosions, so some people will pinch the top of wick. i always made a solid wick so i am not really sure how this particular wick will perform. if you pinch wick then you can open fill screw if needed. also 2.8 to 3.0 is kind of high for genesis atomizers. high ohms equals high voltages and thin wire which is not optimum imo with genesis atomizers. a thicker wire will produce a better flavor then a thinner wire. so if your still not happy i would reccomend 30g wire, and resistances between 1.5 to 2.0 ohms. if in the future you find that you prefer the lower resistances you can even go lower then 1.5, but for now like i said try to stay between 1.5 to 2. in genesis devices you really dont need to produce a lot of volts to get a great vape. lets say you have a 3 ohm coil and you zap it to 6 volts, this will equal about 12 watts of power. now lets say you have a 1.6 ohm coil, you can vape this at 4.5volts to achieve the same wattage of 12 watts. so both examples equal the same watts, but the 1.6 ohm coil is using less volts, which to me is better tasting, also you can use a thicker wire for the 1.6Ω coil which will produce a better flavor as well. anyways good luck, and this rebuilding thing just takes time and lots of practice, also a lot of experimenting to find whats best for you.

I've just recently gotten a good working wick and coil on an AGA-T2. Small "straw" wick using ribbon wire. Resistance reads and seems to stay at a steady 1.7 ohm right now. I was scared to go high on my wattage since I had been fighting a dry wick top but now that I've gotten more used to the "genny tilt" I'm vaping it at 12 watts and the taste is better than it had been.

I'm still dealing with a bit of vaper tongue and thanks to the lovely southern weather, a bit of sinus crud, so I can't say the taste is "great" but it is better.

Id suggest rolling a mesh as tight as you can and then using the hybrid wick method + petar k method for wrapping coils. Hybrid wick is pretty much a thin layer of cotton wrapped around the top of your mesh between the wick and coil. It stops any conductivity and also acts as a sponge to soak up juice.

Some will say "well if you wrapped it right you wont need to do that" to each their own but i like to save myself time and not have to mess with hotspots or waiting for your wick n coin to break in.

YouTube hybridwick. I think bluegrasslover or something like that is the author.

You should be fine with the 60/40 juice. I vape 70/30vg without my fill screw and it doesn't leak out. If you tilt you can't tilt like 45° or even farther. Really depends on how much juice is in your tank [i have the aga t2]. If its near empty you want to tilt until the juice hits the entrance of your wick.

I'm using 28G with 325 mesh, 6-7 wrap....coil should read about 1-1,1ohm. The best!!!!!! Your Provari can push this where most of the other pulsing mods can not. I'm having to use 30G for those. The 28G is very easy to work with and heats slower than the "flash burn" 30 and 32 will give. Just my opinion of course.....with some time under my belt.

Mullet....isn't this Memphis crud great!

I am running 28g kanthal 4 wraps dual coil/wick on my Juggernaut and really loving the results. I usually run 1 coil but giving this a shot just to try it out, really liking it so far. I have tried 34 and 32g wire and couldn't stand it, way to flimsy to work with IMO. I have some 30g but haven't tried that yet, probably won't for now being I really like everything about the 28g.

LOL! nope when it works correctly the nic hits you like a train upside the head. i was so buzzed when i got my first one working.

I went from 18 to 12 and just mixed up some 10. When I first tried it with the 18 I immediately layed down and fell asleep. 12 is almost there I think but not quite
