WELCOME DANI!

Love your avvie, b ut now you need a Reo in your fist! A guy named doogietony does that super well and he's always happy to do it. My avvie and many many more come from him. Just PM him a pic and a Reo and he'll do his magic!

Oh, that's awesome!!! When I get the Reo in my hand, that pic is going up!!! Does he charge anything to do it?

Welcome, Dani. We're all sure you're gonna love the step up to a REO.

I don't have anything to add, but I'll just mention (since I didn't see anyone else do it), that you can mix "compatible" flavors just by dripping into the top of the atty, if you just want a few hits. Unless the 2 juices are REALLY different, they'll first blend, then after a vape or 2, you'll get the new one. Drip again when it starts to dry out, or just squonk (feed juice by squeezing the bottle) to get back to the first flavor. Doing it that way, sometimes you get a nice surprise and find a mix that's really good (or, conversely, really bad LOL)

Congrats and welcome Dani. Look forward to seeing you around :)
I feel like a super famous star just gave me is autograph when you posted on my thread, lol. I LOVE your movies. I can't thank you enough for doing all of them for us newbies. They have really helped solidify some of the "must-do's" for my upcoming Reo.

Take care,
Dani

The way I deal with vaping different juices on my REO is I ordered several extra bottles and caps. I just fill each bottle with a juice and put a label on it. Then when I want a different one I just swap out the bottle and cap the one I am not using at the time. Most of my flavors are similar but the ones that are really different I will swap out the cotton when I am swapping out flavor bottles. Good luck. You will enjoy your new setup.

Hi dani. I had a feeling we would be seeing you. That is a good thing. :) I believe you will really like the REO. It is a fabulous Nicoticket delivery system. You won't have any trouble building coils for the REO. If I can, almost anyone can. I have no skills at all with tools. I got a bunch of spare bottles, and I have only used one. I only used that one because I thought I should since I had them. I ended up getting several REOs so I am able to dedicate them to my favorite juices so I don't have to change flavors very often.

Welcome to Reoville.

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome, I appreciate it! You guys are so nice over here, I was a little nervous venturing outside of my Nicoticket family, but I'm so glad I did!

I do have a question about a Reo Grand. Is there an "adjustable" system inside of it? For example, my eGo-C twist goes from 3.2-4.8. Does the Reo have a similar feature?

Thanks!
Dani

Nope.

Your coil resistance and the remaining charge in your battery determine your vape. A lot of people worry when they use a Reo that they will run the battery too low, but it takes a lot to kill one (don't ask!!) and you notice ages before that point, because it's a weedy, weak little vape.

There were once vv (variable voltage) Reos, but they are rare and no longer made.

I was VV/VW user, went there early with the Evolv device, a Darwin. I was very worried I'd miss it. But realized once dialed in I rarely change it. So I took the leap and a year later owned 9 Reos. Once you dial the coil build in you'll be set.

First, ..welcome to Reoville, Dani. You'll love the atmosphere around here when it comes to a Reo Grand. No better place than right here.

Second, thought I would ask (to anyone) since many have mentioned Nicoticket. (This relates to Dani's question as well)

How does Nicoticket (H1N1), and Alien Vision juices perform in a Reo Grand at 1.2 - 1.3ohms using KGD cotton?

I'm having some coil gunking problems after about 2ml (using the juice I use), and want to avoid getting juices that gunk up coils easily. Having to fiddle with a coil everyday just takes the fun out of vaping, and makes it aggravating. Just love those NET juices though.

I don't notice a problem with the Virus but I do run RxW wicking and can dry burn with the wick in place when needed. I only change a coil and wick when I get bored, longest I've been able to hold out is 8 weeks.

I've read spaced ugly coils junk less.

Jan (awesome person), sent me a sample of RxW 2mm. I've not zoned in on the build yet, but suspect I'll be using a #50 drill bit for it. Ummm... I've tried the spaced ugly coils. Built a Microcoil and spaced them apart with tiny screwdriver. Can't really say it helped and gunked less. I noticed about the same. Was much easier to work when the coil was closer together (microcoil) ...than spaced. Just my observation though.

OMG!!!

Thank you so much for the video, and for mentioning my name. I feel so special.

I was going in between a Cyclone and an RM2, I think you've sold me on the RM2.

August, 2012 is also a good month for me. So glad all is well and the health scare is long gone. Great camera, great video about the basics, great everything I wanted to know. Plus, you taught me how to use an ohms reader which I've been chomping at the bit to learn more about how to work it. GREAT video quality, and no, you don't look like a dufuss at all. :)

I'm still not sure about the battery tester you're using. Is this something I can purchase online or radioshack? I'm not going into sub-ohming yet, so that will be a purchase I will make a few weeks down the road.

Thank you so much for giving me the basics. I appreciate it so much.

Take care,
Dani

Than you dani. You are special :)

I got that battery meter from a generous REOnaut early in my career. As I understand it, he no longer was able to source the part? Dunno but is was hella generous of him.

Hi Dani! You're going to love the ease and flavor you get with a Reo. I have both the RM2 and the Cyclone with stock air hole and like them both a lot. With my squonking abilities, I tend to flood the Cyclone less. Not sure why, I'm probably just not always paying attention. :)

I also don't use a bunch of bottles to swap NT juices. I pretty much use one bottle and am ready to swap flavors at the end of 3 ml (on a mini). I rinse the bottle and fill up with the next flavor or flavors if mixing. If it's something very different, I may swap out the wick and dry burn if needed. It works for me and is super easy.

Squonking has a little learning curve. The suggestion above to take your DT off and watch inside the atty is a good one while you're getting used to it. I always suggest that you get in the habit of squonking before you vape and not directly after when your coil is still hot. Before you know it, it becomes second nature to you.

Be careful, these lil things are addictive. I'm excited to receive my first Woodvil this week and am in the market for another Reo when the new 510's come out. The family just grows!!
