Hiya... umm my goodness, I'm awkward as hell with these intro posts. Feel like like 12 walking into the lunchroom trying to find a seat.

Anywhoo...I'm 24 and having been smoking since I was 19, well officially smoking as up until then I would just bum a cig here and there when with my friends. I recently became sick, docs aren't sure what exactly is up...but yeah, I've noticed my enthusiasm while smoking has diminished. I'm one of those people that really enjoy smoking and so smoking half a cig then being turned off is unusual for me, or sometimes it just flat out makes me feel crappy-or feel nothing.

So with that said I decided I would go ahead and finally take the plunge into e-cigs. After lurking on here a solid few days and reading reviews I ordered the Halo G6 Starter Kit...along with some other goodies. It should be here tomorrow and I'm absolutely stoked, I've been saying I would try the e-cigs for like 2 or 3 years and honestly when I looked into it I was so overwhelmed by all the info I'm sure my thought was "well ..... this, I'll just smoke cigarettes!" lol

I'm verbose btw if you couldn't tell lol so sorry for the long post :)

Thank you guys for the welcome (and the links)...I really like this site so far, I've been a part of various forums throughout the years and I appreciate coming to a site where no one seems to put folks down for being the newbie and asking questions that have been asked a 1,000xs or seem utterly simplistic. It's..refreshing.

Welcome Curleeee! im also a noob here, but been reading for months. I quit THE day i got my G6 starter kit, and havent touched one since. Im kinda like you, its either "all in" or not at all. Just be a little patient and find a flavor you enjoy. Luckily i found one straight out of the gate and havent looked back.

Good luck and let us know how it works out.

I wish my mailman ran a little earlier it's going to suck waiting until around 2pm or later....then I've read I have to charge the thing for 8hrs initially. Mind you I smoked my last full analog (i save my shorts and smoke them later-also out) around 6:30-7am.

I'm not feeling terrible since I have kind of unintentionally been cutting back for a couple weeks, but I definitely want one..headaches on and off most of the day.

VAPE MAIL! Welcome to ECF Curleeee. I too quit the analogs soon after I started vaping. It works great and is by far the easiest method to get off those things in my opinion. I am also one to dive right in plus I suffer from a mild case of Shiny-i-tis. I'm probably spend alot more than I need to on this hobby, but it's worth it to me. Good luck to you and hang out here, tons of support and happy faces to keep you going. :toast:
