Just some general info, I have an IPV3 Li VR 200W mod, using a Troll rda and have a Velocity rda on the way. My go to build is a dual coil, 22 gauge 8 wrap, Kanthal A1 around a 1/8 drill bit (.24 ohms) set to 85 watts. I'm thinking about getting into temp control but not sure how to go about getting started. I prefer to have a build that's not too warm but can also chuck clouds. I'm not sure if I should get Ni200 or Titanium wire. Also not too keen on how joules and setting the temperature all go together in producing your own unique vaping setup. Just looking for some recommendations on wire type, builds, and settings that you guys are enjoying right now! Thanks :)

Well I have a ipv4 with a velocity and a stro mini both RDAs I really like. IMO I like the 2 post RDAs for temp control builds. I rock a dual 28 ga. Ni200 tempered around 3mm bit, 10 wraps, 400 degrees, 50 Joules and it blows nice warm clouds on both RDAs. On the Joules and temp thing the best way I know how to put it is set the temp that you want it to be and the Joules is basically how fast do you want to get to that temp. Hope this helps.

It does! Thanks for the info. What resistance does that build come out to be? I also have an IPV4 but gave it to my mom when I got this one... But I digress haha

Does Ni200 tempered have a different resistance than not tempered or annealed wire?
No it doesn't it has the same resistance. I just like the tempered a lot more because its not as soft as the annealed and more like kanthal. Ni200 can be a real pain to work with and the tempered just makes things a little easier.
