New to the Community, not to Vaping. :-)

Greetings to all you fellow vapors and possible future friends. My name is Schweigert, I've been vaping for about a year and a half. My first ever mod as the community calls, them was the SD MKI by Trog, 8 months in I ordered the SD MKII. Both of which have worked great.
Since my purchase of the MKII I have noticed battery issues that were ever present, constantly destroying the standard ICR18350, along my SD's life I've gone through 4 in total. I never took a gander on what the e-cig community was. The only one I trusted was GrimmGreen himself with his godly intellect and caught me by his timeless style as a straight forward no bull.... type of guy. His original SD review was the nail in the coffin for my first e-cig/mod purchase.
My primary source for e-liquid was the purchase place for the MKII, Totally Wicked E-Liquid. Since my exploration fro that awesome site I was blown away by the sheer magnitude our hobby had taken. Seriously I was overwhelmed and proceeded for a good 3 hours just glancing at mods upon mods. This led me to two other reviews Dr. Vapor and Pheeboy. Both excellent reviews.
Long story short I'm new to the community, not the e-cig world. I'm looking forward to gathering knowledge and sharing mine with everyone as well. Currently I'm making a hard choice between either the Silver Bullet, Prodigy 3.1 or the Bombshell. Hope to meet everyone eventually.

Thanks for the replies guys.. appeciate it.. I was just glancing at the Janty Ego for a friend of mine. I really want to save his life.. cripes he's a chimney. Lol. I remember going over to his house and poping in some excedrine as a pre-caution to community oversmoking.

The eGo is a fabulous first pv. It enabled me to quit smoking, learn about e-cigs, and try a bunch of juice. It is dependable and has a long lasting battery. Liberty Flights has the Riva (off brand eGo) kit for $30, which makes it a great gift.

Really the Riva huh..? I may take a look at that.. Lol. Maybe now I can get both his mod and mine at the same time. otherwise I was willing to go a few more weeks with my MKII.

Well I took a glance at the Riva from Liberty Flights. They are selling for 42.99 and only come with cartomizers. I persoannly have never delt with these, but I supposed an additional $8 for a single atomizer would be a fair start anyways. Beats Jantys Ego for $85. LOL

Thanks for replying and viewing my thread Sash, being a native bottom switch user I was leaning toward the v3 Im just leary with the batteries shaking as Grimm had his with the light spring. Do you have the medium/heavy spring. If you do does it shake..?

Thanks again Mlinky for the directions. I was just curious, does this particular mod stil deliver the 3.7 volts as the Janty Ego..? is it just a name rebrand..? I just don't want them started off on the rough road of a horrible vaping experience I want him hooked right off! I'm just gonna give him 5 ml of my Real Tabs Black label 36 mg eliquid a pre-caution just in case lol..

All of the eGos (including Janty) are listed at 3.7 volts, but they actually deliver at 3.2. I don't have my mod yet, but as a former Kool smoker, who loves to blow smoke rings, I can vouch for the basic performance on throat hit and vapor.
