Hello all! I found this forum by searching for an e-cig that I wanted to buy as my first. This forum has been a big help in making my decision. There is a wealth of information in this place!

A little background on me: I have been smoking analogs for about 20 years (2 packs of Marlboro Lights a day, down to one pack a day about 3 months ago). I wanted another alternative to the cancer sticks so I looked into the e-cig.

I was going to go with the Blu, but I decided to get the Revolver Elite instead after reading some of the posts and reviews on this site. I'll be placing my order tomorrow for it and some extra juice among other things.

I'm more of a "read more, post less" kinda guy, (I learned that mantra from a cigar forum I am a member of) so I usually just sit back and learn.

Thanks for letting me be a part of it! Hope to learn a lot from you guys!

Noobs always think "If I get something as close to a real cig as possible, it will make this campaign more successful. It will make the transition easier." That's as far from the truth as the East is from the West.

Best to get a device that performs like a beast to get you over the 'hump' then tapper off if you still want to. I know because I was the same way, now I know better. Everyone's wants and needs are different though I guess. It's just my 2 cents.

And yet each and every one of us fall into that don't we?

Q,

If you've been researching then you should know already but just in case, you want the following in addition to the e cig itself:

1-2 extra atomizers ( just in case )
several sampler size bottles of juice that range in nic strength. 5ml size is good. get nic strength from up to 36mg down to 18mg, maybe even 12mg. Its amazing how some people who were 2 packs a day need 36mg and others who were 2 packs a day cant handle anything above 12mg.

Ya I started with a 510 because it looked more like a cig but before it even came in the mail I ordered an eGo as a back up. The eGo is a great PV.
