Hey all!

Long story short, my main, 1st real device is lost in UPS shipping land after being sent back for repairs, after just buying the damn thing. Anyhow, I had been eying a Reo since I found this forums, but was to new to for a legit mechanical mod. After a few weeks of learning, watching videos and the above problem, I contacted Rob on the phone to see if he could ship out a Reo with faster shipping then he offered on his website.... He said no problem, and sent me an invoice within the hour! Pretty fking awesome and a big thank you!! (Using a damn e-crap go and it blows, and Im nicking harder then ever atm)

This is my 1st mech mod purchase! I got:

-LP Mini Reo 2.1 (Purple!)
-Brass LP Reomizer (not sure what version)
-Button cover
-AW IMR 18490 from RTDvapor
-XStar SP1 charger from RTD (Hopefully this will work, never bought a charger/battery before)

Now, The AW IMR specs I can find, the site lists it at 15C which is equal to 16.5A continuous discharge(Please correct if I'm wrong). Is this the optimal battery for the LP mini? About how long do these guys last? (Medium to heavy vaper)

Playing with a bunch of combos on the caculator, seems .5ohm and above is pretty safe territory, relatively speaking, yea? Im not a sub ohmer anyway, just want to know my limits, add a safe margin, and go from there. (Have 2 ohm meters, 3 spools of kanthal round, 1 ribbon, cotton of all kinds etc..,)

I understand if I wanted to use a regular dripper, thats OK too? (Have a Veritas Im liking alot) Can just replace the "squonk" bottle with a stash bottle of juice for dripping. Seems like it would work!

Any extra goodies you pros would recommend?

Anyhow, super stoked and big thanks to Rob for helping me out with super fast shipping and great customer service.

Congrats on your inbound Reo! Yes you should be fine.

Yes 16.5 amp max continuous load is correct. at 70% load that is 11.55 amps so a .36 ohm and above coil would be safe.

the SP1 should be fine, I use the VP1 so that I have a voltage display and don't have to use a separate meter to test my batteries.

You going to be liking bottom feed so much that you'll only drip to test new juice. So look at this to have your regular drippers drilled. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-supplier-forum/581604-catfish-atty-mods.html

Congrats on deciding on reo - you'll be very happy with the decision.

You prolly want a couple more batteries. At 1100 mah (and, say, .5 ohms on the coil), they should last you most of a day, but not all, so you'd benefit from having one to swap out for later-day vaping. Also, bat life in general is shortened with continuous charging/use, so it's good to have a number of bats to cycle through.

You mention getting an RM2? The version intended for use with LP reos is the LP RM2. The 'regular' RM2 will fit and work, it just won't sit flush and will show a portion of the milled base (some feel it looks a tad odd on the LP reos). If you've ordered the regular RM2, you might want to consider PM'ing Rob to swap out the right version if the order hasn't shipped already.

XTAR is a quality charger. The guy in here to answer any of your questions about it is a chap goes by the handle 'Rickajho'.

+1 on the idea of getting a rebuild kit for extra assurance (you're currently left high and dry by a downed mod, yes?).

Couple of extra atty screws and some spare bottles never hurt, plus you should get a spare spring or two.

Mostly, get ready for the vape of your life.

Wow, what a good package! Welcome Pedro! I love those purple Mini's, in fact ALL Mini's :) Papa, he got the LP RM2, all good ;) I have read the Xtar chargers are very good. It sounds like you have done your homework Pedro, even if you haven't! Talking to Rob on the phone might have helped, just a little bit, maybe... Just be careful to check your atty after a build so you know its not short circuit, if there is a short the battery spring will collapse, which acts as a fuse on a Reo. If that spring is taken out there will be no more Reo vaping until its replaced. Battery springs are $5 on the website, many Reo owners keep a spare "just in case" to keep Murphy away. As you can imagine there's spare Reo springs sitting in households all over the world, just waiting for a hoople to do what a hoople does.

Here's some choice vids made by Reonaut Super_X_Drifter, you might find them interesting if you haven't seen them already.
