New to the forum and have started using Mistic brand E-cigarettes, found cartridges VERY cheap.

Hello all, day 6 of using my Mistic and I am VERY pleased. I had no idea there was such an internet following for these, I bought it on a whim and haven't smoked a regular cigarette since.I have been lurking the internet and thanks in large part to this forum's stickys I found most my answers. I do plan on refilling my own for fun more than anything.

That being said I finished the first 2 provided cartridges and just got back from the store where I bought a 5 pack of them. I paid $2.67.

I thought that was really cheap, then I hopped online and saw that the Mistic website and most other places list the 5 cartridge pack at 15 bucks!

So is 15 bucks the normal price and did I just find a store that isn't pricing them correctly? If this is the case I am going to go buy several packs while the getting is good so to speak.

$2.67 seems overly low for a 5-pack of any kind of cartridge or cartomizer. And $15 is abnormally high. Prefilled cartridges (which few use other than new vapers) usually cost $4-5 for 5. Prefilled cartomizers usually cost $8-11 for 5. Most people here use blank cartomizers on 510 or KR808D-1 threaded models and the blanks are usually $7-8 for 5 for basic 1ml cartomizers and higher for more exotic types.

We keep cartomizers damp with juice and many get 7-10 drays use out of each. A heavy vaper may get less use out of each. And for anyone who uses cartridges (which push on a separate atomizer) - they last a long time and can be stuffed, and it's the atomizer that degrades or dies.

Thanks guys. I think I will but another few packs at that price and start refilling them as I finish.

I don't want to ask too many more questions before I lurk around here some more, but thanks for the advise and welcomes!

My local grocery store sells the same brand and while I don't remember the exact prices, they were lower than the msrp on the website. I think the small kits (tin) were $25, large (box) were $50 and refills were $10/5

Edit - My bad, the kits I was thinking of are Metro, not Mistic. I'll leave the original so as not to cause additional confusion.
