Well, first off, Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 10:00:00 PM was the last time I've touched an analog. :)

I have been vaping since the beginning 2009. I vaped and smoked nearly a year, then I switched to to 0 nic juice, started Chantix and was done with analogs. I continued to vape, and only nic free juice since then. I love it. I've lurked on this forum for some time now and finally joined. For all that contribute, thanks, awesome forum.

Now my questions. I'm getting ready to start building and rebuilding atty's and carts. I know to use a silver, lead free solder. I have tons of this stuff, but all mine have a rosin core. Anyone know if rosin core solder is OK to use or not?

thanks all!

The mod forum is what sparked my posting. :)

This site is beyond addicting, one thing leads to another, especially when you have mods on your mind.

Thanks AzPlumber for the solder info. Picked up some silver solder from Radioshack this evening. I successfully rebuilt a clearomizer. Not perfect, but for the first time, it worked. Now to start playin with some atty's.

You might find out that, while atty rebuilding is fun and challenging, using refillable cartomizers is a quick and easy way to vape and get much better taste and vapor than just about any atty short of using an atty as a dripper with a drip tip. Many people here are just through with filler style cartridges and have changed to Boge LR cartos or an equivalent. The cost is about $1.50 to $1.75 a pop and last as much as a week, then you toss it.
