Hi All!, I have been vaping for the last month or so using the veppoccino from an online company called veppo, I have had the occasional cigarette when socialising but haven't had any for the last week or so. I am really enjoying vaping but feel like I may need to upgrade as the kit I have at the moment is just a standard non-adjustable set up, I have completely confused myself with online research, watched many YouTube videos, and now have no idea what I should look into and where I should buy it???. What I would like is an adjustable start up kit that is easy to use and won't break the bank!!! Any input greatly appreciated

Hi @newbievaper and welcome to ECF!

+1 on the iStick 30 and the Nautilis mini. Glad to see you made the switch and welcome to the vaping adventure!

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Nothing wrong with an iStick 30W. It is a Good Mod.

But I am surprised to see So Many Votes for it. And None for the iStick 40W TC ?
I don't have one but others like those too. But now you're going to have to explain what TC stands for to a new guy and give warnings to not use temp control nickel coils in a non TC mod should he get a TC tank other mods etc etc :p

You can do almost anything with an iStick 30w (apart from vape over 30w, obviously).

I just made up a rebuildable dripping atomizer (dual coil) and put it on the iStick to test out some new flavours, from the UK Vapefest.

I wouldn't know much about the 40w iStick... I shan't be getting one, no... the 'point' (i.m.o.) of the iStick is to get a small portable battery that you can chuck away in 6 months, maybe more, maybe a little less. Complicating it with new and irrelevant technology (*for me*) is just more to go wrong and worry about. If I wanted to "temp control" I'd be buying a long-term device with replaceable batteries and spending twice as much in the hope it lasts.

While I'm here... is Veppo a fair price in AUD? There is a LOT of ripping off customers in Aus' thanks to the strange laws.

You can always ask for advice on Aussie Vapers regarding specifics.

Yeah...

My Theory is if someone is going to be getting a Mod with a Non-Replaceable Battery, they might as well get the iStick TC even if they are Not into TC now.

Because they can use it in Regular Mode and it works the Same as an iStick 30W. And it Costs about the Same.

So it is like getting the TC for Free.

And Yes - Never use Nickel (Ni-200) Heads or Builds if you are Not in TC Mode using a TC Mod.

BTW2 - The GS-Tank or the GS Air M or GS Air MS would be a Great Choice for a "Head" type Tank.

You make a great point! I've seen the istick40 TC around the same price as a 30, and I suspect Eleaf might be stopping making the 30.
