Maybe that's it, psyc63, though for the life of me I don't see why vapor makes me start coughing the instant the smallest amount hits my lungs while cig smoke doesn't...other than the size of vapor molecules vs. analogue smoke. That said, I loaded up with Tribeca today and while I still couldn't inhale it without coughing, it tastes so darned good that didn't matter too much to me. Today I cut down to 1/3 of my normal volume of analogues. Trying to taper them off over the next couple of weeks leading into the new year.

I was just about to type the same thing Psyc said. Once you are fully off of analogs, you can then have a better idea if there's a chance you are sensitive to PG or VG if the cough persists. BUT...you may start to cough more once you fully quit analogs. Your lungs will start to clear out all the tobacco yuckies from smoking.

It is a big learning curve smoking to vaping. Also, if you bought some, you might want to try lower mg at night. First, it will help as far as sleeping goes (if you have that issue) and it can help to determine if the higher nic might be causing you to cough. Higher nic can make the juice a bit more harsh. But dropping too low won't help w/cig cravings.

It's all a matter of trial and error but keep posting and giving details. That's how others can help you out.
