if you want something with little maintenance a joyetech will be fine. get some kanger tank that doesn't leak and ask the person at the vape counter how to change the wicks, how soon to change the wicks, set the wattage, and let you try some flavors to pick out ones you enjoy. that is really there is too it if you are just starting out. maybe a 50 dollar investment and you are off running.

Hi and welcome to ECF. If you want a device that goes 'something like yo', you could go for a diamond encrusted vape pen by putting your house on mortgage.. ?

To be more realistic, we need some more details about your current experience with vaping and the type of hardware you're used to. If you're looking at giving up smoking and want a beginner friendly and simple device I'd suggest something like an Endura T18 or eGo One VT.

Frankly there are a lot of devices out there. Feel free to offer further details so we can give more suggestions.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Tina Strong. Glad to have you here!:)

I often recommend an iStick 30 watt or Coolfire 4 (both mods) with an Aspire Mini Nautilus or eLeaf GS Air M (both tanks). Videos below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRnetQM2JKY

@Tina Strong That is excellent news. Vaping is definitely the healthier alternative to smoking and you can still get your nicotine fix. I am also new to vaping and it helped kick the smokes, and before I go ahead and give you my 2 :2c:, I'll back away momentarily and let the veteran forum members start pointing you towards the right threads and give advice with regards to vaping hardware, liquids and nicotine.

I'll jump back in if I'm needed :) Which is unlikely.

@Tina Strong Hello and Welcome to the forums!!!! Glad to have you hear and glad to hear your trying to stop smoking. What is the one starter pen you are currently using? There are plenty good mods out there now a days like the ones Susan~S mentioned above. Are you looking for another pen style or box style? These will help narrow down the options for you. Also, do you like to do mouth to lung hits or direct to lung hits would be another thing to know. As you can see, many great people here willing to help out when we can.

I would look into a kanger subvod....it has a,1 button design witch is great for new users.it all so comes with the subtank nano which is a good tank with lots of coil options and also has pass through so you can charge while using it.....I think you can pick it up at the vape shop for about $40-45. If you feel like ya need more options like a vv mod may look into a subox nano all so from kanger an about $55-70 at local vape shops( could be more where you live) hop this helps ya

Hiya Tina, and welcome to the ECF Forums! SO glad you found us here. LOTS of help and advice available to help you quit!

Don't go deep on the light gear, your preferences will likely change as you gain a little more experience, but DO have at least one set of backups for EVERYthing. Things happen, and a backup will keep you from running to the package store for those coffin nails!

REALLY looking forward to watching your success here! PLENTY of good advice already, so I will just add my Good Luck! and support for your quest.

I agree with the question Ablonz asked being important to know from the get-go: "Are you looking for another pen style or box style?"

A newbie currently using a pen style, and says in her OP that she's looking for "a very nice vape pen"...most likely doesn't even know what most of the stuff already mentioned on here is! I know when I was new to vaping...I'd be totally lost & confused.
