So i purchased a 4nine clone from LaVapeco and since i got it every 3 or more hits i take the button gets hot. I messaged them about it and they said its perfectly normal. But i believe its not safe and i havent used it ever since. Does anyone know whats going on or how to fix it?

I use a Vulcan rda and Stallare v2 with sony vtc5 batteries with the 4nine.

You can try and order the upgrade from fatdaddy.

SHOP - FatDaddyVapes.com - Home of the best vape tweaks and replacement hardware.

First, clean off your mod. Take all the bits apart, and clean them with a degreaser. If you don't have a degreaser, a high percentage isopropyl alcohol will do. Next, make sure your artt isn't shorting. If your build is above 0.14 ohms and the button is still getting painfully hot in 3 hits, check your hybrid connector delrin spacer and your positive pin. Does it protrude enough? Does the actual positive pin protrude enough from the deck surrounding it?

If all this is good and you're still getting a hot button, maybe the 4nine isn't for you.

Good luck and vape safe!

Maybe you're using a very low ohm coil compared to the 4nine clone button ohms.
