New to this need some opinions and info

Hi! Sorry it took me a while to reply. Busy day.

I wound up using a couple of suppliers. One out east and another in our neck O the woods. I am by no stretch an expert -- I am yet to actually use a device at all! But I am at a stage just a little further down the line and I may be able to get you "up" to my level at least, which is the waiting on Canada post stage. lol I'll hold off on recommending anything in particular for the reasons mentioned, but I can tell you what I ended up ordering:

I got 2 of : KSD eGoVV 900mAh Pass Through Battery with Smoketech Dual Coil tank, and 1 of : Smoktech tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Refill 5 pack, and 1 of : Boge Low Resistance Cartomizer 5 Pack, and some other things you may not need as I am going full geek with my gear and am trying a kind of representative sample of a few things. I also intend to order more, likely within a few days once I get a handle on the physical vs the merely theoretical. You may want to get something along the lines of what the other, much more learned members have suggested, or go full geek like me, but that will depend on how elaborate and complicated you want things to be. As far as local vs Canada-wide ordering goes, I dont think it will make much more than a day or two diff in the time it takes to get anything delivered. At least going by what Canada Post promises for delivery times. Just remember not to order certain things from international sources. They may never arrive.

Every supplier I have contacted so far has been very helpful and patient and more than happy to assist in whatever way they can. Just be sure to first decide whether you want something simple to learn with first then go more complex. Or go a bit more complicated at first, but that means you need to read and read and read some more. All you need is here. I can help you a bit by steering you to some of the things I found really helpful, but untimately it will have to be your own decision based on your preferences.

Ah thx a lot for the info . Right now I'm contemplating if I should get the ego kit or go straight for the lava tube. Plus some carts I've heard good things about the carts.

Jut put in my order I decided to go with an ego kit. And also a lava tube kit. I couldn't decide which one to get so I decided to grab both also got some carts. And some juice to star off with from another supplier. Can't wait to get the packages in the mail so I can quit these analogs. Thx for all the help guys

Nice choice! From what I hear the Lava tube is awesome. I may be making a similar purchase very soon.

Good choice on the purchase. The EGO-T is better for those times when you want to be a little discreet. The Lavatube is perfect for those moments when you need that bigger kick. Also if you end up liking cartos, try purchasing a carto tank. Its like an automatic feed system for cartos.

Welcome to the community, I would think an ego would be great for starting. Also on ECF and youtube there are tons and tons of learning opportunities. I read and watched videos for 2 weeks before I actually ordered. Good Luck and Vape ON!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.... I too just began vaping about a year++ ago. I came to this forum by accident reading information from knowledgeable people. You are in the right place!! I started with an ego and moved up as my experience and knowledge grew. And I still use my ego today as it fits in my work shirt pocket. A low resistance cartomizer works great with that device and last me a few weeks with proper care. (Keeping the filler material wet) Other than that, questions are always welcomed and answers are always available.

I got my gear yesterday and am lovin it! You are going to be amazed. I even tried an analog this am and wound up tossing it. The vape is more satisfying. Get a bunch of flavours so you have several to choose from. I made the mistake of not getting enough!

just received my gear in the mail yesterday and im loving it i filled up my ego t , and liking it its good to use when going out , small and compact. im using my lava tube at home and wow it gives me so much more vapor at higher volts. in all im happy with both of them

Two great choices! I started with the eGo-T and still use it every day and it's one of my travel vapes. It goes with me any time I leave the house. It's perfect for that. I have 3 of them going as I type. One with a Mega Dual Carto passthrough, one with an atty and cartridge and one with a LR 2.0 carto and drip tip on it. They're all GREAT vapes and the eGo-T is SO versatile.

I just got a Lava Tube last week. I put a 3.0 carto with a tank on the LT and can vape for hours before I need a refill. Set at 4.2-4.5...it's just awesome! I absolutely love it! I got the pretty red one.
