First most - Hi and Welcome to ECF :)

As far as your question about the 510 drip tip - I am not certain if you are looking for a drip tip, a dripping atomizer, a tank or a combo of a dripper and a tip or tank and tip?

You definitely need to replace your battery. A good quality battery and charger are key when using a fully mechanical mod. You need quality batteries/charger from a reputable vendor. AW IMR batteries from RTD are a great idea (amazon and ebay are full of re wrapped poor quality clone batteries) and a good charger like Pile, Nitecore or Xtar :)

Hello and welcome!

I agree with CreepyLady. A mechanical mod is not a good place to start if you are a new vaper. There are too many things that can go wrong if you do not know what you are doing.

Consider getting one of these:
1. Evod Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Ego-C Twist
4. Innokin iTaste vv v3.0

If you are interested in learning more about e-cigarettes (and all the parts and pieces) below are some blog posts by ECF member Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping and/or looking to upgrade.

1. A Good Starter's Setup for a Beginning Vapor
2. Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Egos and Mods
3. Proper terminology - Is it a carto, a tank, or what? A Guide to Juice Attachments.
4. Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

the igo series are good for starters.. But the air holes are kinda small. You can also try the TOBH, magma, tugboat, etc. They are pricey unless you get a clone.

The Igo's (Igo-l, Igo-w, etc) are about 10-20 bucks. You can also have your local shop drill out the air hole a little bit for you too if its too tight on the draw.

The Igo series gives you a great place to start for dripping atomizers. Cost is low and quality is good. If you want to build single coil, go with an Igo-L. For dual coils, go with an Igo-W. Of you don't mind clones, you can buy copies of more expensive attys. The difference usually being just the quality of materials (grade of steel) used. In the clone world, Magma's, Plume Veils, and TOBH's are a popular choice now. They give you the option of adjustable airflow and single or dual coil set ups.

When building mech, read up on battery safety and definitely have an ohm reader. I would start wrapping coils with 28 gauge wire to start. Stay away from 26 gauge or lower until you're very familiar with how your wraps are coming out and how your mod reacts to lower resistances. I find that a 0.8 - 1.2 ohm build is a nice way to experience a mech mod/RDA vape. If you go lower than 0.8 to start, you may get a vape that is too hot or too harsh, therefore tainting the experience for you. As you drip more, you'll get use to the intense flavor of an RDA and may decide to test other builds. Once again, battery safety is number one.

Good luck! Hope you find dripping as fun as I do :)

As I have been vaping for the past 2-3 months (new vaper here of course), I own ego c-twist and the innokin itaste vv v3.0. Both are giving me great flavors and good amount of vapors. But back to your Kamry K101, I recommend you use Efest high quality batteries and get a good charger to come with it.

Hope your vaping journey continue and prosper

I picked up a Magma clone recently. The quality is actually pretty good compared to some other clones I've had. Easy to build and nice RDA... it's almost not a dripper as it holds quite a load of juice. The option for single or dual coil with matching airflow holes for either build is pretty nice.

Igos are pretty inexpensive and I liked them OK once drilled a bit. I've also heard decent things about the Smok Catepillar but haven't picked one up yet.

Easiest way to see if dripping is something you want to get into further... Get them with 2 ohm coils and put it on Spinner or eGo type battery
The DDA or Disposable Dripping Atomizers | Spinfuel eMagazine

I wouldn't jump right into the RDA scene just yet... the DDAs are a good cheap way to see if you are really interested in putting the effort into dripping on a regular basis...
