New to this.

Hi,

As my title says, I'm new to this. I have a Evo of some sort. I bought a replacement bit for it that holds fluid and has a resister rating of 1.8ohm. the replacement heaters(?) are 2.4 ohm. What is the difference in performance?

2.4 is cooler. Might give you more flavor but less heat.

2.4ohm is not going to produce as much throat hit or vapor. The vapor will be cooler.

so it will not burn as hot? does this mean it will have to take longer to make the same amount of vapor?

It might not ever make the kind of vapor the 1.8 will. But it'll make your small battery last alot longer.

Most people make due with the 2.4 on the cig-like batteries. The 1.8 actually sounds a little unsafe, amperage wise for that battery.

That big battery on their website would work better with the 1.8

I do have to say, that site has a lot of great looking pipes! I would love to convert my old pipe. I will have to see what i can see, ehh?
