Hi All...newbie here!

I quit cigarettes and started vaping 14 days ago. I'm on 18mg and go through about 2.5 / 3ml of liquid a day. I used to smoke about 15-20 analogs a day.

I'm using one if these - Rocket E-cig Kit

So far so good, apart from acid reflux and heartburn. I didn't suffer with it while I smoked analogs.

Could I be the switch to vaping? Anyone else experienced this?

I have been vaping quite a bit longer. I can't tell you for sure what is causing the problem but I can give you me 2 cents.
My guess is the high nic of your juice, the amount you are getting in your mouth and/or the contents of the liquid. Another possible issue is the way you are inhaling.
I have been vaping over 9 years now and have been battling acid reflux for about 3 years. I have had scopes that show there is minor redness all the way down my esophagus but nothing major. On top of this I have tried all of the major medications without relief. On top of this I have changed my diet based on recommendations.
Although I can't be 100% sure I can tell you that I have spent a very long time narrowing down the culprit(s) in my case.
Since I DYI I originally thought it was either nic content, vg/pg ratio or flavors. I lowered nic to close to zero and eliminated flavorings one by one. No change. Completely altered my base mix. Every possible combo of vg/pg.
I am to the point that my last thing to eliminate is high power vaping and volume of liquid. I have been using top air flow RTAs for a few years. This is when my issues started. I know it is quite possibly not a vaping issue at all but I have eliminated everything else.
It seemed to happen about the time switched to lower nic but higher power vaping. I went from vaping 12 mg at lower power to 3 mg but quadrupling the amount of liquid. I am now on the verge of changing back to more restricted/mtl vaping. Have some new things coming in the mail and just dug out some gear from 4/5 years ago to test out.
I will tell you that this place which is the absolute best place to learn is also the place that any possible health related issues are prone to be belittled. Sometimes rightfully so and sometimes just because we see ourselves as righteous.
I would say the best thing to do is experiment with your type of vaping. Change the liquid flavor, type, hardware and see where it goes. Of course get checked out by a real doctor.
Sorry for the long rant but it is hits close to home for me. It is an awful feeling. Keep us posted.

I experience no issues but my husband does, and he vapes lower nic than I do. With that said, he has a delicate stomach and oddly enough foods like tomatoes and eggplant (which also contain nicotine although I think part of it could be just high acid content) can also make him somewhat queasy.

I think this may also have something to do with vape technique, I kind of barely inhale all of my eliquid and I use a low output, high resistance MTL setup.

Things you could try: different types of nicotine (e.g. nic salts instead of freebase).
Not inhaling at all, Mouth to nose vaping-- this avoids the tendency to swallow nic accidentally when vaping it. You'd think it would happen with cigarettes but it's actually a lot harder to swallow smoke than vapor. Avoids the issue, although I will say, not inhaling is not super satisfying at least a first, but you could try it.
Lower nic or change setups.
Deal with it, accept it, and treat it when necessary accepting that yes, you will now be "treating" something that you weren't having to do before, and deciding if the gains from vaping are "worth" treatment (it might be smart to include a doctor in this, I mean my husband takes a few tums every once in a while, that's hardly a big deal but if you need something more invasive, well, that would be worth considering.)

Most of all good luck and I hope you get it sorted out. Could also try different juice manufacturers and VG/PG ratio that may change how you inhale and the amount of nic swallowed and etc.
