New to vaping and need advice on my next purchase

I am now looking for my next purchase and I hope you can guide me as to what to get next. I'm looking for something that is going to last battery wise and something that is a bit more technical than just screwing a pre-filled cartomiser. It also needs to be easily upgradeable and with parts that easily/widely availible. While still being cost effective. My initial investment for my next purchase is around a maximum of £100, but I can possibly go higher if needed as long as it is worth it. My budget for each month for refills, juice, parts, etc, is around £25-£30. I'm really not sure if that is too much or to little of a budget, I'm hoping you can tell me. Any suggestions on my next purchase with the points above taken into account are very very appreciated. And just to add, I am in England, UK, so any purchases need to be delivered here. All advice is welcome.

At the minute I've calculated that using my VapeStick MAX with prefilled cartomisers it is going to cost me around £50-£60, which is a bit too much for me. Have any of you switched from prefilled cartomisers to a clearomiser or tank set up? Is it cheaper and is my budget of £30 enough for each month?

I recently upgraded from my cig-a-like Gamucci to an INNOKIN VV which is going surprisingly well, the transition from cartomisers to clearos or tanks isnt as bad as it may seem, in fact I switch between all three depending on my needs at the moments, cartos are a lot less conspicuous to use in public but clearos are a lot more convenient for me because I can keep an eye on how much juice I'm burning through each day, £30 a month sounds like more than enough but again it depends on how much juice you use a day, have you found your "all-day-vape" yet? Mines Watermelon which makes it easier to buy in bulk and make a small saving, brought like 15 samplers to begin with and most of which I used a few drops and hated them.

I'm looking to upgrade to a more robust e-cig at the moment for battery life and longevity, thinking about Mods at the moment like the Vamo V2 or the Lava Tube or the Tesla, don't know where the best place to buy those models online is but they're definitely worth having a look at, maybe you'll have more luck than me at finding a good vendor in the UK and if you do let me know please! good luck with your search, I'd be interested in knowing what you decide on.

Happy vaping

Well at the moment I'm using a menthol prefilled cartomiser at 2.4% and I think that is going to be my standard vape for the day. Using about one cartomiser each day. Someone suggested a Vamo V2 earlier and I do like the look of it, going see if there are any more suggestions and then I'll decide, I'm a bit worried about missing something so before I place an order I'm going post on here to make sure I have everything I need. My £30 budget needs to include any spare parts that I might need too. Where do you get your juice from?

I'm having that same worry, just found a good site for the Tesla Mod but they only sell the Body so I'd have to get the batteries and charger separate, also i think there are some issues with which tanks and clearos are compatible so I'd have to look into that. Heres the link.

I didn't need to shop around very much, I use paradise vape UK, the website isn't anything to shout home about but they have some gorgeous juices, Mojito and Watermelon being my current favs, wasnt too keen on the RY4 Caramel, the Strawberry & Banana mix (tastes too chemically) but I am yet to try the Black-current, Grape and the French Vanilla. Fruit Salad isn't too bad either. Heres the link for them.

I first started with an ego 650mAh battery and ce4 clearo tank, soon progressed to a vivi nova tank and 1200mAh variable voltage ego battery. I would recommend this set up, the battery should last most of the day (as long as you don't chain vape), plus it has a battery meter - so you know how much charge you have left.

VV battery should cost about £20. Nova tank £10 (with 3 interchangeable atty heads). Repalcement attys are about £3 each and should last 2-3 weeks. I buy most of my hardware from "vape escape" - can't recommend them enough.

Now though I've got a bottom feeder set up on order from the USA (Vmod). I build my own wicks and coils for the nova heads and make my own juice. Next purchase will be a Vamo v2 to run my aga t2 tank that I've bought.

Upgrades can be addictive

I would recommend the nova tanks though - make sure you buy the genuine "vision vivi nova" set up, cos I had a lot of leaking with the cheaper chinese copies. Again I'd recommend "vape escape" really helpful and knowledgable staff.

I'm really liking the Vamo V2. I think that's what I'm going go for. I'm going order the following

Kanger Protank VE511
Innokin iClear30 Dual Coil Tank VE501
Vision Vivi Nova V2.5 Long Wick Clear VE371 Clear
2x VE454 18650 (2000mah) (I might get another 1 or 2)

Vamo V2

Nitecore Intellicharge i4 V2

I'm not sure if I need anything else though, because the tank and clearomizer is still a bit confusing?

I would suggest getting some spare atomizers for the vivi novas. they come in 3 resistances - 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8ohm.

The full set up is easy to take apart and clean and replace the attys - just do a search on here or youtube.

Not used the Evod, Protank or iclear30 so can't really comment. But they all seem to get good reviews.

Well I prefer the 1.8 or 2.4ohm. I mainy use the 2.4ohm on my regular ego batteries and 1.8ohm on the variable voltage battery.

The 2.8ohm seemed to dull the flavour too much for me.

One other thing - make sure you do a dry burn on the new atty and clean the tank, drip tip etc to get rid of any machine oils. All my new nova tanks take a few draws to break in, but no more than a 1/3 of a tank of juice.

Variable voltage is one of the features on my ego 1200mAh battery. It means I can adjust the amount of power going to the atty - higher voltage = more vapour, but the attys don't last as long. I find different juices need a different voltage to find the sweet spot. Most juices I vape at 3.7 volts - 4.8 volts.

Hope that helps :)

wow what a good desision you have made there. i have been vaping for nearly 9 months now,and it took me about 4 months to come up with a very similar set up,as the one you are looking at.
I am currently running with...vamo v2, lava tube v2, kanger protank and vivi novas.

After using the vivi nova the longest,i am truely sorry to say that they are becoming more and more redundant,as i absolutely love the kangers.

As i said you made a good choice, and should not go too far wrong with your decision...cheers Terry

Also look here for your juice the 100 ml sale is awesome, and it is good stuff...http://www.bargainvapour.com/

I use Evod, iClear30's and the Protank, all very good and easy to use, think about getting some spare heads.

Of the 3 mentioned i prefer the Protank and i have stopped using the Vivi's as these 3 make them redundant, if you go Evod and a Vamo you may need an adaptor, the Vamo i have will not accept an Evod without a 510 to eGo adaptor.

Personally i would go Vamo + Protank (Protank is glass = any liquid) until you can afford a Provari. Then you can really get into it.....
