started vaping and lurking the forum last week, loaded up on aspire stuff: vv 1000mah battery, et-s bvc carts

vaping all day for me (longish sessions, few breaks), 1000mah lasts me 7-8 hours, so i might be looking at 1300/1600mah ego styles or mods already.

hated the look of the "standard" ego cases with the fat eGo metal logo on the outside, and opposite pouches. found this case for too much money ($15 shipped) at smokeless image - maker of volt ecigs. they have several colored zippers/branding, and i went for black. the logo came in all black too which was a pleasant surprise since it was black/yellow in the picture. i cut it off with a knife anyway, and now there's a sweet dimple (like on the moto x phone) which kind of helps you hold it in one hand.

got a couple samplers from velvet cloud and virgin vapor: vanilla mint, sweet vanilla chai latte, dark side of the moon (chocolate tobacco), nutty cookie, catherine the grape, peach tea, burley beard (tobacco), caramel tobacco. velvet cloud was rad and also threw in harvest berry and thorangine (creamy tangerine). i've tried them all except for caramel tobacco and thorangine, and i've liked them all except for burly beard. it was good (unique) but tasted like licorice and leather with a musky perfume, slightly sweet - not quite the tobacco. dark side of the moon is great, but i'm still looking for a pure tobacco flavor - any 100% VG recommendations?

if you're looking to try one of those flavors out, i can basically recommend them all except the beards and thorangine which i haven't tried yet.

vanilla mint was very smooth, slightly creamy with the vanilla and always cool and refreshing. the taste and flavor was very balanced between the two.
sweet vanilla chai latte was as expected with a slight spiciness which was unexpected (even though chai is in the name, i dunno - chai tea is pretty smooth), but delicious.
harvest berry is addicting, sweet, fruity, and TART. i put that in caps because it's not an overwhelming tartness, but just because it makes the flavor pop, and so good to keep vaping.
catherine the grape really has a delicate grape flavor. it is good, but i find myself gravitating towards the harvest berry for its tartness which this flavor lacks. it should be noted that i put this flavor in the same cart as burly beard, and didn't clean out the atomizer 100% well, but i've vaped it enough where that flavor is mostly gone.
peach tea is super nice, black tea with peach flavor. when vaping for a long time, the black tea becomes a little overwhelming but then i just switch out the carts - but it's always nice to come back to.
nutty cookie - just like it's name, the description for it says "chocolate chip cookie" i think, but i don't taste any chocolate in this. very pleasant dessert flavor with a slight creamy aftertaste. a solid companion with beer.

i'm satisfied with the vapor from all these flavors. nutty cookie and vanilla chai particularly gave off stronger vapor, i keep my volts around 3.7 usually on 1.8ohm atomizers so if i want more vapor i just crank it a bit, and/or take bigger slower hits.

sometimes the et-s likes to flood and i don't really know why. it's not a big issue at all, i haven't had problems all day, but it is worth mentioning. it may be due to running low on juice (1/3 tank) but some of the times i had full tanks. i just keep some qtips around.

i got my aspire stuff from ecigpens, they only sell aspire. i told the guy that i was flooding (which very well could have been due to newbie error), and when i went to order more tanks the guy threw in a coil for me ($2 value.. legit).

also worth mentioning that if you get et-s tanks, the chimney on them may be bent - inspect them before you use. you can bend them straight using a pen so it's no big deal.

sorry for this monster post, just felt like typing/procrastinating going to sleep and class tomorrow. hello.
