Well my daily smoke is I believe a Clearomizer. I think its just a cartomizer thats clear so you can see how much is left inside easier? Anyways, I've been through a few different ones and theres many more I've yet to try. But, my favorite so far is my Totally Wicked 3.5ml tank. Which I believe is this Tornado RCS - Silver
Now, I've also drilled 1 of 2 holes on it, to 1/16, just cause I like a less resistant pull. But, with or without that its the first tank I've had 0 problems with, at all. But everyone has their own preference also.

I would just read reviews and know what your looking for. For instance, to replace smoking, a drip atomizer is not the best choice, but they give more flavor and sometimes more vapor, though require you to drop a couple drops on the coil, every 2 hits or so depending on the person. Cartomizer is your daily smoke, 1.5ml tank will probably last you all day unless you vape heavily. Mainly look for any reviews saying its bad about gurgling or clogging, otherwise its probably a decent cartomizer and may just depend on your preference which you end up liking the most.

I would suggest go with a mechanical mod and dripper style atomizer, its heavy and need not fear breaking if u drop it, fasttech.com in hongkong has everything, i use astro mod clone and u can get the patriot 22 millimeter dripper style clone from there as well.... Its cheap, i recently bought 5 astro clone from fasttech to sell to friends n coworkers... Lol

Given that you are in oz ...and ecigs are more difficult there from my understanding....I would go the route of something like an evod tank atomizer at the least....or preferably a rebuildable drip Atty or tank...

Let m be clear here...I HATE cartomizers, cartomizer tanks doubly so.....and I mean hate with the intensity of a thousand sons kind of hate…..would rather give up 4 years of being vaping only and go back to cigs than use a *bleeping* carto….

Cartos mute flavor and get all sorts of muddled quickly...
At least with an evod you can swap out the coil heads quickly....and if it strikes your fancy you can even rebuild the coil heads quickly and easily....and wire and wick is rediculous cheap for a lot of it ( like here you can get wire for less than $5 for 100feet....and you use maybe an inch or two at a time...)

Now ya'll confused the crap out of me now!!!

But seriously, I've been considering buying all 3 Clearo, Carto tanks & Attys. I've got a little money to burn and I want to arm myself with a good bit of options so I can trial and error my ways.

The Vamo V5 is already locked in. I'm not gonna buy a mech mod just yet.

An Evod is just a tank...one without a cartomizer...it has a coil head inside of it that is replaceable..just that IF the mood suits you, rather than just replacing and throwing away the coil head when they burn out, you can rebuild them super easy if you wanted to... You'd still use the vamo V5... Just not the cartomizers....
I'd link you to one but I think that's forbidden in the new members forum... So just do a search for kanger evod...some places refer to them as replaceable head clearomizers..

edit: actually in that best clearomizer link you posted....the one on the right in the clearomizer picture (the one labeled bottom fill) is an evod

newbie Vapor Head here.
7 days without an anologue! After 30+years of using. I am currently using a starter kit. EGO T. I am upgrading, as soon as the mailman gets here!.
I havent had a single nic withdrawl! NOT a ONE!. Even while i was drinking beer the other night. Cant say that about the dozen or so times i have tried, using "approved" methods. Nicorette and drugs and what not. SO. It can be done!
Just keep telling ;yourself your not quitting, your just replacing one habit(and a nasty one at that) with a better one. Works for me.
My only regret(well i have 2)
1. Should have went straight for a mod! VV/VW V3 Innoken, Kanger Aero Tank, Kanger Pro Tank II Mini, Kanger Pro Tank 3 , MVP 2, all in the mail.
Like someone posted, and from my experience this week, Dripping is out of the question right now. I am sucking on these e-cigs all the time! Tanks last me half a day at 1.6ml and 24mg of nicotine.
2. Spare parts! I have about 2 days left of use on my, what i thought was a good supply of, coils! Whatever you choose, get lots and lots of spare parts! Juice isnt so bad, you can see when your getting low, but those parts, they will just go on ya, and your stuck without em!
Your heading in the right direction thats for sure. Read, read , read. Lots of info in this forum, everything you need is right here on ECF. The members here will post useful, helpful, unbiased(somewhat! LOL) opinions and experiences.
Good luck!

You were at least a pack a day smoker weren't you?....
On average pack a day full flavor smokers will go through 2-3 ml a day when they first transition over

Guess what I finally settled for, ladies and gents!

I still have my Vamo V5 awaiting delivery, but I visited the local B&M here and couldn't resist the Provari mini, so I had to have it!
Initially I had issues with the Kanger Protank 2, which leaked like a .... and wasted 2 coils in the process.

Replaced it with the iClear 30B, and so far that vapes like a champ!
Down the line, I'm eyeing the RBA Kayfun's as it looks really nice. Haven't smoked for 48 hours and I feel pretty damn good so far!

Man, this Provari is really really sweet...

I want the Kayfun but might try the clone for now as I'm new to rebuilding but I love hands on builds.

I just gotta say (clone vs. "genuine" arguments aside) that there are a few manufacturers that have REALLY stepped up their game when it comes to the Kayfun knockoffs.
