So, I figured as an introduction I would describe my experiences so far.

First of all, I had done a lot of research but decided to make my purchase at the Indy Vapor shop. I can't say enough good things about Mike at Indy Vapor. He was incredibly nice and really knew his stuff well. After some discussion I decided to go with a Joye eGo:

First impressions:
I really enjoyed using the eGo starting out. I was surprised at how closely the feeling was to smoking analogs. I wasn't trying to quit smoking yet but I have found that I've dramatically cut back. Battery life has been great. I only really noticed one drawback, I absolutely hate how often I'm refilling the cartridges. With nothing to compare it to I would whole-heartedly recommend this device to new users.

The constantly refilling carts led me to try out the eGo-T atomizer after having seen it at the shop:

This really improved on the life of the carts. I also noticed that there seemed to be a better flavor with the tank system. While I have seen that there are a few issues I would absolutely endorse the eGo-T system for new vapers. Compared to the standard eGo carts, I think the tank system makes for a much more hassle-free introduction to vaping.

Hey Cail and Welcome to ECF! From just south of Indy and Frequent Indy Vapor shop alot and the guys there are great! They know me well! LOL Haven't tried the tank yet but am thinking hard about it! Good Luck in your Journey fellow Hoosier!

Yeah, I was a little weirded out going in there the first time. Where they have to buzz you in and have the sign on the door that all employees are armed with deadly weapons lol. I was incredibly surprised at how nice they were after that.

I tried both the janty ego and ego t and went with the t mostly for the convenience. It works perfectly for what I need. I have some regular joye 510s, a couple 900mah batteries, some lr atties and cartos and some drip tips on the way to test out but I think I will end up sticking with the tank system.

Exactly, I think that I might eventually move on from the tank system but for a new user the convenience of this system is awesome. It's important, even for those who like to tinker, to have a smooth first experience so that they don't give up.

I agree with this... even though I've been tinkering non-stop since last week when I got my first kr8, and I've already upgraded to the ego w/ 3 batteries, drip tip, fluxomizers, and a bunch of juice and syringes. I may try the ego-t atomizer though... but one thing I can say for certain is now that I've gone ego, I'm never going back to kr8 lol

Yea they don't mess around on safety! I guess in there business though you have to be prepared!
Don't know if you noticed but they have a lot of sample size bottles of various juices on the counter and some there that you can sample before you buy! That's how I found some I liked without having to buy the whole store LOL
