Hey guys, I am a regular on several forums throughout the internet on other subjects and I must say
I am amazed by the size and content on here, it's huge. Well I've been smoking for 11 years and I've decided it is time to quit and I decided to make the switch over to pv'ing. I'm not trying to quit smoking completely, just figured this would be much better for my health.

Well after doing a bunch of research I've decided to purchase from MadVapes and to go with a smok Tech Ego starter kit. I also got a pack of the smok Tech 2.5ohm Cartos and 5, 510 flat tip cartridges since I'm not sure which I'll like more these or the atomizer, cartridge combo.

For my e juice I went with the following, all flavors are TopVapor USA:
1 - Menthol, 30ml 24mg
1 - Cheesecake, 10ml 24mg
1 - Lemon-Blueberry Cotton Candy, 10ml 24mg
1 - Cherry Limeade, 5ml 18mg
1 - Mad Chai, 5ml 18mg
1 - Honeydew, 5ml 36mg

I used to smoke newports and then for the last 2 years I've been smoking Black and Mild Wine. I wasn't really sure which flavors I'd like so that's why I varied it up a bit, lol. Well any comments or advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance guys for all your help.:2cool:

Hey congrats on taking this step and welcome to ECF! i dont have alot of advice besides you are going to try a bunch of different stuff and buy alot of stuff lol, thats what i did anyways, until you find the perfect fit for you, i started with ego-t, and lots of different juices, i found the tank system was not for me and finally settled on boge cartos and vision clearomizers, plus upgraded my battery to a Lavatube :) As for juice, alot of them sound great, but i found that they all did not rock my world, and i also found out i am a Fruity guy when it comes to juices, so let me know how that Cherry Limeade is...it sounds delicious!
ps sorry for the continuous sentence.

Congrats :) I don't have anything to say really, other than the topvapors juice hubby just bought needed to sit for a few days. Maybe it was just me, I don't know, but at first they didn't seem to have much flavor. Now they are much better! So if you don't like them at first, let them sit a good 3 days-week and try again :) Good luck!

Thanks guys for the tips, I'm really excited to start my vaping journey! Wait so if a flavor is not strong enough or something I should let it sit for a bit? That's very interesting and thanks for that little tidbit.

Fresh made juices should be allowed to steep to really bring out the true flavors :)

I will keep that in mind when I try out my juices. I was also wondering since I smoke about a pack(5 cigars) a day of the blacks, which juices out there would give me a comparable experience to smoking the black and mild cigars with a thicker, heavier smoke? Or would you guys say a LR carto would be able to give me that thicker, heavier vapor that I'm looking for?

Did you guys tried ......... flavor. I am not sure if I should try.

Tastes like Pine-sol. I had to give it a try...LOL. Nothing like the real thing that I can remember from waaayyyy back when.

Thanks Shilo, you're right, just picking out my first set of flavors must of taken me 3 hours and I must have switched flavors like 20 times, LOL!

In regards to Frankies post, are we allowed to discuss that subject matter here?

No. This is a clean forum and illegal stuff stays out.

I'm not a topvapor fan myself but I know a lot of people like them. There is a ton of good vendors out there so do lots of research. As for flavors, if they taste funny to you at first, put them in a cool/dark place for a couple of weeks and try them again. Don't refrigerate. Refrigeration can actually cause your juices to go bad. Just a cool, dark place is sufficient.

Here is a good place to get some eliquid reviews however I don't let the reviews deter me from trying something that strikes my interest. Some interesting reading though..... General E-Liquid Reviews
