My wife has been trying to quit on and off over an extended period, a struggle I'm sure many of you have dealt with as well. I became aware of these PVs in a thread on another unrelated forum. So I came here to start researching what this is all about.

Lots and LOTS to absorb, but we're starting with a MaXX fusion Bloog and crossing my fingers. Thanks to all the veterans for sharing their knowledge here!

Congrats to your wife coyote. I know the struggle of quitting VERY VERY well. Smoking for over 25 years and have TRIED everything out there. As a new vaper myself let her know there is some difference that will take getting used to. And she might still get urges to pick up an analog as I do. I think it all comes down to how much Nico you were getting from the analogs.

For instance if you were smoking 2 packs of lucky's for 20 years, dont think getting an 8mg nico juice is gonna cut it. The act of smoking was what i was really missing while trying to quit and e cigs take care of that part. She really has to want to do it as well, and in a few days time she will see the benefits of it

It's best to try a few different strengths and flavors when you first start out. It'll give you a better chance of finding what both tastes good and what nic level you need. I'd recommend you order some sample size bottles of different juices from somewhere. There's lots of places that sell them. If you start another thread asking for suggestions on that subject you'll get lots of answers. If your wife isn't amenable to making the switch don't push her too hard. For many smokers it's the constant barrage of "you really should quit" that keeps them from quitting.
