All I vape is my DIY. Before I started that I was spending $80 a week on juice. That had to stop. It was starting to cost what smoking did. Now I make 100ml for $8 and have half a liter on hand at all times and it's better juice than I ever got from the B&M's.
I hear you there.... The DIY seems to be a big thing and I completely understand where you're coming from, there's a very good chance I could eventually get into something like that but for right now I'm just trying to figure out what's right for me and what my senses crave for in a vape. The money doesn't bother me coming from the NYC area I was forking out anywhere from $10-$14 per pack of cigarettes, now being down in North Carolina its $5 a pack vaping was me telling myself that just because I'm paying half doesn't mean I need twice as much . Once I've gathered a general understanding in what I truly like and how I like it maybe just maybe be ill dabble in mixing some up myself!
I'm not to sure about laws down here but it's not the lack of vape stores that have made this hard for me it's more the less the fact that whenever I walk into a store it's just not clean at all and doesn't see, to be taken care of very well, the vape community seems to have love for all aspects of anything having to do with the subject and the processes that are involved with your everyday "vaping" it's like if you walked into a restaurant and saw garbage all over the floor and the server told you that everything here is made from scratch in house..... Would you still eat there? Lol that's the brick wall that I am running into!
If you do get into it I'd like to recommend using laboratory glassware, specifically a graduated cylinder, a good sized beaker, and Erlenmeyer flasks. The graduated cylinder is key. Measured milliliters means your results are accurate and consistent.
Madvapes was mentioned...stay away. Their B&M's have horrific prices. They tried to sell me a $200 IPV4 at 1 of the Asheville locations.
For online ordering of fruit and candy flavors, I recommend Anna Mae's Gourmet E-liquids - Artisan Quality vape in premium glass bottles They have a $25 sampler pack where you pick 5 flavors and nic level. Each comes in a 5ml bottle. I recommend Slug Juice, Zombie Blood, Escargot, Nana's Pudding, Blue Potion, Danish Swirl, and Wicked Melon.
B&Ms are at a disadvantage. Taxes, overhead, paying employees...
No on-line site has everything, but major sites will be talked about. For ejuice, I am currently vaping Mt. Baker Vapor, Vape Wild, Nicoticket, and the Vapor Room. The fact that I mention a bunch of sources is that there is no "one" juice vendor that is perfect.
