New to vaping, have some questions

So I just started vaping roughly 2 weeks ago.

Right now I have a Vision Spinner and a PT3. After reading a lot online I bought an aero base for it to see how I liked it; so far so good.

Now I just ordered a full Vamo V5 kit from fastech and it's on the way. I already received my Intelli charger and AW 18650s, the kit comes with 18350s so I wanted to be able to try all three bat options on my new toy when it arrives. I've been looking at tank options because I feel I should be able to get better flavor than what I am getting now. I've considered the Nautilus but am not sure if it will really be much of an upgrade over my Protank. After searching for a while I saw that the Aspire Atlantis will be releasing soon but have no clue about sub OHM vaping. Is this a tank I'd be able to run on my Vamo or would I need a new mod already if I wanted to go that route?


EDIT: Not sure if it matters but the Juices I have right now are Cutwood Unicorn Milk, The Collection Duffy, Time Bomb TNT, and Cosmic Charlies Dream.

Also, any juice suggestions? I'M HOOKED!

The Nautalis is nice but picky... u have 2 prime it and remember 2 add drops of e juice on the coil while the ProTanks plug and play... It depends on the watts of your batteries as 2 whether you can safely sub ohm cuz the Vamo will u try luckilly refuse 2 fire if u try 2 push the battery 2 hard... If u wanted 2 sub ohm I'd go with an rda and a mechanical mod would be your cheapest route... Also look at Badatudes blogs on battery safety and coil building

I did some searching in regards to the question asked about the vamo and the tank:

If max current draw of a vamo is 5A, it seems you would be over driving the unit if you use the maximum.

The formula I used for this conclusion was sqrt(P/R)

P=15 watt maximum
R=0.5 ohms

15/0.5 = 30, sqrt(30) = 5.4

Hmmm, maybe I will try the Nautilus for my next tank then. I really just want the best flavor I can get.

Nautalis is nice just put drops of e juice on yhe coil 2 prime it properly otherwise you will get dry hits and the coil will be shot

Read the specs on the Vamo5. I do not believe you can sub ohm using that device.

The Vamo V5's (most sold/highest rated model) from FT will not fire anything below 1.2

Protanks are known for muting flavor plus if you're a new vaper it may take some time to get your full taste back.

Anyone think the Nautilus is the way to go for pre builts or is there another option?


I actually was a dipper before a vaper! I would have never been able to stop if it wasn't for vaping!

For a two-week-old vaper I think the PT3 and the Spinner are more than adequate. Imagine them as a bike with training wheels...
