New to vaping. Hello guys!

Hey there guys.

Just got my build recently, and its the IPVD2 + uwell Crown.

I'm currently using the .5 coil, and Halycon Haze's Sweet Prudence. A few problems though.

1. Not much flavour. I'm on 35w in Power Mode. I'll step it up bit by bit.
2. I think i primed the coil too much, and it still has some bubbling noises whenever i fire it up. Should i wait it out or change the coil? If i change the coil, what wattage should i go for?


Hopefully these questions will be answered soon. I am new to the scene and still trying to get my inhale right. I did read some very good information from the forums here! Especially the vaping techniques post in the forum.

Welcome to ECF, @Icaruss. Mostly likely someone will be along shortly who is more familiar with your tank, but I would suggest you try to unflood your coil before changing it out. Try removing the coil, wiping it off, and then gently blow through it into a paper towel to get rid of any extra e-juice. That will often stop the gurgling.

As for your power setting, that sounds reasonable to me. Generally, you want to start at lower power, say maybe 20-25W for your 0.5 coil, and slowly increase until either the flavor improves or you get a hint of a burnt taste, in which case you should dial the power back down.

It sounds as if you're new to vaping. Are you also a former smoker? If so, many folks have found that it takes a while before their taste buds recover and they can really taste their juice -- particularly if it's a more subtle flavor. Personally, I vaped mint for several months when I started. It wasn't an exciting flavor, but I could taste it, and it got me off cigarettes.

How thick is your juice? You have a great setup for your first kit

The crown .5 coils I vape at 55w as the coils are awesome

I use max VG juice,

If you had over primed the power would burn it up pretty fast, sounds like your juice is thin

Thanks @NoFumus, hopefully i'll be able to enjoy my time here, and maybe help others as well! I'm not much of a smoker, just a social one, and just shishas at that, and wanted to try this out. So i'm still sticking to 0mgs.

and @Paul lamb, it is 60pg/40vg. However the first one i used is Liquideo's Churchill. That was kind of thin and I used that to prime it. From what i read from another post, a user suggested not to overprime it. But weirdly i'm not sure if its burnt or not, it doesn't taste burnt.

Can you try a 70/30 juice or even thicker? I've not had any issues with my crown, I love it

Thanks mate, happy vaping as well! I'm gonna get some new juices soon. Hopefully i'll be able to try it more. I'm really loving the crown at the moment. So much vapor!

Maybe buy some VG and thicken the juice yourself

It is my opinion the juice is too thin but only my opinion. There are others who are probably using the same tank with the same liquid as yourself without issues?
