New to vaping, hoping to quit analogs for GOOD!

Hey, I have been searching the forums and I had finally decided to buy the joye 510 to hopefully quit analogs. With me smoking a carton a week with cartons being $70, I thought $60 on an e-cig wasnt to bad.

For now I just got the Joye 510 starter kit with some e-liquid, is there anything else I would need?

I was thinking maybe a few atomizers but that might be later down the road.

Try it to see if you like it first--your e-cig that is. If not, keep trying until you find a fit. And then, always, have extra extra's of your extras.

It always a good idea to have extra attys, batteries and juice.

Try to have at least 5 extra atties, couple extra batteries.
Juice - according to ECF poll the average usage is 2-3 ml a day, some go as high as 5-7 ml, so plan accordingly.

Can't have too many atomizers... pick up a few spares for now. The 510 batteries are some of the shorter lasting before recharge. Many get PCC (personal charging cases) that allow you to charge batteries on the go. Some get Passthroughs that allow you to vape from a corded in line battery - best to be plugged into a wall charger via usb. This is good when you're stationary or in the car (using a usb car plug).

Another way to go, is to get an eGo or Tornado battery, but you'll also need a quick charger and a cone. Those batteries last about 6 hours vs. 1.5 - 2 hours with the 510 kit batteries and they fit well with the 510 atomizer and cart so you don't have to invest in a whole new eGo kit. Just get the battery, charger and cone.

A new development you may want to try if you decide to go with an eGo battery:
eGo cartomizer

That's a cartomizer - atomizers and cartridge all in one that will hold 2.5ml of ejuice - about 5 hours worth. ymmv, but it's for and fits with the eGo battery.

All that said.... If you're doing well with the recharging of the 510 batteries, just pick up a few or three atomizers.

I've noticed that after I began to cut down on my Analog use, I started getting headaches and I was a little bit snippy to those around me. I cut down to zero after 2 weeks of transition and I've been analog free for 2 months. The irritability and the headaches go away after 2 or 3 days.

thanks for the quick replys, I have been reading about the short battery life on the 510, I was planning to upgrade to the tornado once i get the hang of vaping and going without analogs. And I know what you mean about the headaches, Ive tried quitting cold turkey and I lasted about 3 days with headaches and an attitude lol. I am just hoping to go without the need for an analog every hour lol.

Just start with an ego or something with a bigger battery. I guarantee you that within your first week, you will be wishing for a bigger battery and sick of charging your 510's every couple of hours.

As others have mentioned, the battery life is the main concern. If you're handy with a drill and soldering iron check out Mad Vapes for the parts to build a "box mod".

I hope the 510 works for you, it saved my marriage.

Mad vapes also carries the Hello016 that I'm currently using. Once you get 510 parts, you can use everything but the battery and the charger on a Hello016. I'm just using the basic battery and cartomizers right now.
