thank you for that information.
If the battery straight out of the charger is 4.2 volts and decrease with use, wouldn't 2ohm carto considered not safe according to that chart? (atleast at this voltage) Does that mean that I am susceptible to inhaling solder fume? Woudn't getting higher resistance carto like 3ohm considered safer?

That's where a Kick comes in. Let's say you really like the way it performs at 8 watts. Set the Kick to 8 watts and the Kick will deliver that wattage as long as there is enough power in the battery to do it. You won't get burning on a fresh charge and you won't get a drop off while you vape.

The Kick will control the voltage for you, all you have to do is find the wattage level that you like and set it there. You can change coils to a higher or lower ohm and the Kick will still deliver the same wattage you set.

No, there's no possibility to be inhaling solder fume. That chart is meant to be used as a general guideline. In fact, many people will apply voltage higher than 4.2 volts on a 2.0 ohm carto (with a variable voltage battery) and not experience any bad effects.

Once you hit the power button on a mechanical mod a couple of times, that 4.2 volts of the battery quickly goes to 3.7 volts and stays around that voltage range for most of the battery's charge duration. Toward the end of the battery's charge, it will quickly drop to 3.6 volts or lower. At that point you'll notice the drop in vapor and hit; then you'll know to replace the battery.
