I am new to vaping and started my vaping life with Kangertech ProTanks II's I have quickly developed vaping fatigue and only vape 100% VG juices, I am dipping my toe so to speak with some research on some decent tanks and getting to play with coils, various wicking materials and configurations. The ProTanks are mediocre at best and currently I am burning steeped juice with little value if only to keep me away from my kicked smoking addiction.

I do find it ironic that vaping addiction (sorry interest) could cost a serious amount money far more than I would have ever spent on smoking! but then again you cannot put any monetary value on your health assuming that inhaling anything carbonated is worse (not to mention the many chemicals used by Big Tobbaco) here's hoping there are no nasty long term ill effects of vaping time will tell there. I am hoping some of the new tanks and coil designs will improve my vaping experience for a better vape in flavour and quality it's a fascinating developing area and access to clones is the only way currently I can afford my vaping journey.

I have never actually brought a disposable cleo having in my 6 weeks of vaping used/owned KangerTech Mini II V2, ProTank II, Ithaka (Clone), Kayfun Lite (Clone) and seriously looking at buying a Taifun GT Clone.

Any suggestions and discussions would be most welcome once again many thanks for all the responses.

Hello and Welcome. Sounds like you have some gear there, clone or not. Are you a hobbyist as well as kicking the cigarette habit? I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for in here. There are so many knowledgeable people and they are always willing to help which makes this one of the, no, "the best" forum I've ever encountered. Good Luck and Happy Vaping :vapor:

D*** (is that a bad word you're not allowed to use?), starting with a pt2. I still don't have a protank, and I'm perfectly happy. I use an SVD with Evods and Mt3s (waiting to get some pyrex Aros for tank destroyers), but just found out that my old ce4s are actually quite good. Guess I'm easy to satisfy, and that's probably a good thing

Welcome!

For starters, addiction is likely the best word. :) As for the money side of things, I have found that once I spent the (large amounts of) money getting gear that will work for me, my costs stabilized and now that I am down to occasional new hardware purchases, all I'm spending on is juice and coils. Essentially, I am now at the saving money point. You didn't say how much you spent on smoking, but I would suggest that over time, your vaping will eventually be cheaper, it is for a large number of people anyway. If by chance you are one of the folks that must have one of everything, and then a spare just in case, the only tip I can offer is to win the lottery! LOL

Congratulations on joining the vaping world!

At $60/carton for American Spirit, I can buy a lot of vaping materials. However, the research process tends to add *substantially* to the initial cost. Had I bought some Ego-Twists plus Aspire hardware, and a pile of MyVapeJuice.com flavors in the first place, I would have saved even more. It takes a while to find the flavors (and nicotine levels) and hardware that will make you happy; after that, sailing seems smooth. I had an analog cig about a week ago, didn't like it anymore. And *that's* what I have been hoping for, for ages.

Hello and Welcome to ECF.
Remember one thing you can always sale your used Vaping stuff, Hard to sale a used cigarette

I am new and addicted, first 8 weeks I had 8 different mods
I ran out of excuses to say when I buy a new one
But waiting on Vape Mail is almost as Fun as Vaping! :mail:

And it's cool to Vape 8 different Juices simultaneously, isn't it? :w00t:

It's A Great DAY TO VAPE :vapor:

I got an ego t starter kit with 2 1.6ml clearos (not exactly sure what they are) and added 2 kanger 3 3mls and 6 juices. It wasn't working for me at first until I managed to afford some 100mg nic from rts which I add at a mild 10mg final mix. Had an analog 2 days ago which made me feel choked up and ill, only 3 before that this whole week. Vaping is what I have been searching for since I tried to stop smoking 8 months ago

Thanks for all the posters for there welcomes and advice, I'm trying to hit the sweet spot on what I spend for the best vape. I am aware that speaking of clones on some forums is like blasphemy ;) I am still waiting for delivery on a few from the Far East. The GG clone I got this week is great it has problems but the vape is blissful from what I had previously experienced.
