A coil will have a given resistance to the flow of electricity based on the type of metal it is made from and the thickness of the wire. The unit of measurement used for resistance is the ohm.
As stated above the range of coil resistances acceptable to the chipset in your mod is 0.06 ohms through to 5 ohms.
If the coil is malformed or there is a connectivity problem between the mod and the tank/coil that causes the total resistance to be outside the accepted range of values the mod will throw up an error message.

You need to troubleshoot this systematically and logically.

Try replacing the coil.
Try a different atomizer/tank that you know works, do you still get the same message?
Do you have another mod you can test the tank on?
Do you have a multimeter to test the resistance independently?

So all i would need is a new ohms thing.?
Ive factory reset it and had the tank off the box and it still says it when i hold down the button.

Yes i did. It worked the 1st time then it gives me this.
Hi and welcome,
What batteries are you using?
If you are getting the error with no tank attached, you may have a short in the 510 connection.
If your device is new, return to the vape shop for assistance or a refund.

Cheers
I

Ok so this is just my personal opinion and just my opinion, but first I'd like to know if this is your first device?if it is and you're New just take this mod to the store you got it and let them check it out.no need to get frustrated with it sometimes when people get frustrated with kids at first they just give up on vaping, they just get overwhelmed and I don't want to see this happene to you..I know it's a nice mod and cost a good bit so they should hook you up and take care of it for you.just watch what they do and you'll know what to do next time.remember please don't give up it does getting better once all the kinks are out

I just bought a vgod pro 200. And it says ohms are not supported help me please!!
What juice attachment (tank) is on top of your VGod Pro battery device? Inside of the tank is the coil head. It will have tiny numbers and letters written on it. For example: "0.2 ohm".

What brand and model batteries are you using?

The above information would help us better to diagnose your issue.

Never thought vaping could be so complicated, right? Fact is, its really not that complicated. You are just not familiar with small electrical devices that are not always "plug and play" ready to use right out of the box.

Bill the Troll had a good suggestion. If you purchased your vape setup from a vape shop, the salesman should have educated you on how to operate it and made sure it was working properly before you walked out of the door.

If you purchased your setup online, well sometimes there is a "learning curve" with the more advanced setups. Patience, you'll learn quickly enough. ;)

Yes, the ohm's thing has to do with your tank and coil. You need to say what those are. The fact that it worked once and now isn't makes me think either your coil isn't seated correctly all the way, which may be the main issue. Your coil should in fact have (if it's a drop in coil, not one you physically made yourself) a resistance on it. That is what your mod should be reading.

If the resistance is too low, you can get that message.. If you have a rebuildable on there, maybe something has come loose in the build, but drop in coils can also get dislodged, so take it out and replace it.

IF you dropped the setup or it is otherwise very fragile, it's possible it's something to do with the tank and mod connection. Your coil may also be leaking, which can "depress" the 510 connection (the hole in the mod that you put the tank in, basically). You could try lightly cleaning it with q-tips or even prying it UP slightly. If your tank PIN (the part you screw in) is damaged somehow, you can get the same error message as it won't connect fully to the tank.

Overtightening between tank and mod is actually for the most part worse for it than the reverse, so it would be good to check everything.

If you have something else to test it on, well certain mod connections can be a bit more finicky than others. I've had coils read on one mod, but refuse to read on another.

If all this does not help, it's time to like, take it to a vape shop and have them look at it. Etc.

Good luck,

Anna

If it's the vgod combo kit then it's a mod + tank combo very nice hook up kit at that.it is a great starter kit from what I've seen.like baditude said it's probably just something simple.he'll go back to the store and they'll hook him up or one of the simple fixes one of you guys said.I just always like to stress the "Don't get frustrated" aspects to all of this it's so easy to get frustrated and we're all here with you wishing you the best step by step.

Thank you all for the help i very much appreciate it :) .
The batteries are samsung 30q 18650. And i think the coil is the problem. Coil is 30w-100w 0.2 ohm It doesn't look right but im a newbie and it could just be me.
Im going to the store later today to see if i can pick up replacements and solve the problem.
