So my wife and I have had our EGO-T for about 2 months now. We just recently switched to the replaceable atomizers. what is the best way to clean the 3 piece atomizer? I have heard people use everclear to clean theirs. I have also heard people use distilled warm water and a Q-tip.. We both also did the upgrade to the 1000MaH batteries.

Welcome! Very happy for you and your wife.

Question for you are you using the ego-T tank system? the one with the plastic mouthpiece tanks as one piece and the little metal tube with a spike as the atomizer?

I started with something similar. They can be soaked in hot water. I found vodka worked better. I didn't have much luck long term with that system the atomizers clog up and burn REALLY easily if you are using sweeter or dark colored juices.

Something to think about going forward is a clearomizer I like my CE5s and my Kanger protank. Both of which will go on your batteries just fine. Alot of people like the Vision vivi novas but I have not used them. I am sure others can chime in with other suggestions.

A FYI the Kanger is a bigger up front 15-20 bucks up front but the atomizer heads are only 1-2 bucks each. The ego atomizers are 5+ bucks each.

can anyone tell me a good battery mod and tank setup?

I love my Vamo + Kanger Protank. Other FOlks I am sure will chime in with others.

The Vamo is extremely flexible in that it takes a couple of battery sizes (and adjusts length to match). It also is a variable voltage/variable wattage which lets me adjust how much power is used with a particular tank/clearmizer/cartomizer to get my personal optimal vapor level. It is also alot of bang for the buck coming in at 40-60 dollars US. Is this the only big battery mod out there? NO I just have no experience with the others.

The Kanger Protank gets mixed reviews from people. It has a fairly cool airy draw that some do not care for. It is a glass clearomizer which means I never have to worry about what juice I put in it. The heads(atomizers) are 1-2 dollars US each (less than half what the ego ones cost) and when you become more advanced can be rebuilt. It is a bottom coil so it works well with the thicker higher VG juices.

Many people also like the Vision ViVi nova which is another tank/clearomizer on the market. There is a metal tank available for it to make it juice impervious. It is a replaceable head system (I don't know the cost). This is a top coil which produces a warmer vapor. Some people find they have to tip and swirl the atomizer when the juice level in the tank gets low or the juice just does not wick up into the head well enough. I cannot give a direct opinion on this one as I have never used it. I have heard good reports on it however. If you go this way be sure to get a genuine VISION Vivi Nova. I have heard bad things about some of the knockoffs.
