I just started vaping a little over three weeks ago. I've been a smoker for almost 20 years. I haven't touched a cigarette since I received my mod. Istick50w I have the 1st version of the Atlantis and a Herakles tank as well. I've researched what I could. I know about vaper's tongue the pg allergy etc. I haven't been able to find anything on my symptom.
I started with a 20/80 pg vg 6mg ratio plume juice. I've been fine with this mix. Ordered some from Mt. Baker as well, but accidently ordered 80/20 6mg from them. I was fine for a week or so switching between both. I started using biotene to help with the dry mouth from the pg mix.
Fast forward a week and now when I try to vape the Mt. Baker I get a numb lower lip and part of my tongue goes numb. It goes away a few hours later after I vape the plume juice for a while. It's more annoying than anything. So all things are pointing me towards a pg allergy.
Now I'm confused though because I just bought a bottle of juice from seduction ejuice with a 20pg/80vg 6mg ratio. vaping that gives me the same problem as the Mt Baker 20/80 mix.
Could it be that my mouth is just getting too dry? Or is it more likely to be a pg allergy? Or could it be a withdrawal symptoms from quitting analogs? Maybe my body just needs to adjust? Since I started vaping I definitely boosted my water intake. I have no other signs of dehydration. So it's a bit concerning but more annoying. Especially since I can't find any other posts anywhere with the same symptoms.

Sorry for the long post. I don't want to give up on vaping.

Well the plume juice is fruit. A strawberry blend also a cereal. The two I have from Mt Baker are fruit ones some citrus blend and the other is hawk sauce. The seduction one is custard and the other a snicker doodle.
The plume juice which is 20pg/80vg I don't have a problem with. Seduction is a 20/80 also and the Mt Baker is 80/20. I have problems with both

You did check that the nicotine level you ordered and the nicotine level you received are the same, right? Did you order any extra flavoring in any of the eliquids?

My daughter's boyfriend vapes 0 nicotine. Around a year ago, he ordered a few eliquids from Mt. Baker Vapor. His tongue and lips started feeling tingly when he used one of the eliquids. Since he does have allergies to several foods and medications, my daughter thought he was having an allergic reaction, and brought the bottle home with her so he would not be tempted to vape more of it. She gave the bottle to me to put away in my vape kit. When I looked at the bottle, lo and behold, it was 18 mg nicotine with double shots of flavor instead of 0 mg nicotine with double shots. After he double checked his order, he realized that he had goofed and accidentally ordered the wrong nicotine strength.

Perhaps you have a sensitivity to the sweeteners that are being used in the juices.
I LOVE AVE Boba's Bounty, however, if I vape more then 5ml a day, after a week or so I get sores in my nose and need to take a break. Couldn't say what it is that gets me, but at 100% VG, it's NOT PG sensitivity.

I have almost the similar symptoms as you are, but in my case, my tongue didn't feel numb for long, just a few days. But my first week of vaping in attempt to switch from analog was very uncomfortable, i felt my throat sore badly and my chest felt its hard to breathe no matter what PG:VG ratio i used. But then, after one week, all those symptoms gone by itself

Haven't been back to respond to anyone. It seems to have passed. Once I figured it was the pg... I switched to a max vg... Added some pg over a few days. Eventually I stopped reacting to it. Now I can vape the 80/20 without issue. Not that I really want to lol. At least I know what it was now. I also stopped using biotene because that also contains pg. Figured maybe it was overkill.

50/50 or 65/35 either way is my zone. I do recall that i had some physical changes occurring in the first two weeks. Since then, I get an occasional runny nose. Since I don't inhale in to the lungs, all the vapor exits through my nose. Just a by-product that I accept. I also drink a lot of water.

I'm pretty simple.
