Not sure which post you are referring to, but yes this is true of an auto battery model. over-drip = wet battery.

Unless of course you are using a model with a sealed battery:) (cough..510..cough..cough)

I've read so many of the thread here before I signed up I couldn't begin to tell you. And I'm just getting familar with all the different types. The Titans a 510, that's what I have and that's all I know;)

I did say "I believe the Blu is a 401" I did not state it as a fact. I suppose I should have said "The Blu looks like a 401", but that's splitting hairs. So if you're so sure that it's NOT a 401, I suppose you could tell me what model exactly it is.

As for it not being the lamest e-cig, I said twice that this was MY opinion. Again, if the 401 is NOT then please tell me one lamer. It's definately the lamest of the 5 models I have (by a long shot I might add).

The batt on a 401 might be spec'd to last longer (I don't think it does 'cause I have both and this hasn't been my experience), but to me it wouldn't matter if the battery lasts for a month if the thing doesn't hit well (which it doesn't).

I have no problem recommending the 510 to a new user. I have tried many models and it is just the best. I think there are hundreds of users on this forum that will back me on that statement.

When I started vaping, I purchased lots of different equipment tring to find "the best vape I can get". If I can share my experiences with others so they don't make 'mistake' purchases then I'm going to.

Not everyone has the money these days for experimenting. If you do, great. buy every model made and make your own decision. But if you don't, and can only make one purchase, I'm saying 510, every time.

That being said, I have not tried every model out there (yet) so it is posible that there is something better, but I know it's not any of the models I have.

All the above statements are just MY opinion. All this stuff is subjective and everyone will have their own oppinions. I suppose there are people that would rather drive a Yugo than a Ferari for one reason or another.

And not to knock your 510... Just that when someone is mentioning a model they plan to buy based on... no research at all into the variety of different models... I think it is a disservice to immediately turn them towards a specific model based on... nothing- Not knowing their habit of smoking, their amount of consumption, their comfort to similarity... etc etc-
So I didn't post what MY preferred model is- but to have him be aware that Blu is not a choice for many due to many indiscrepencies with the company and the many flaws it has been reported to have-
When you compared the Blu and 401 w/o having full knowledge of it's actual similarities or none, that is also a disservice... even though you put... "I believe... & ...lamest..." it leads the person w/o knowing of these models to believe that you are stating a fact... Not that you were supposing the similarity but that your belief is that it is overpriced ... And then the "lamest" as you stated, was your opinion... and the offer "...jump on me for saying..."- So, I did- LOL I don't believe it was even relevant to what the OP was asking... yet, your opinion should matter...? I think not-
Giving a new person information is what helps- If you can state why you feel it is "lamest" and back it up...
What works for one may not work for another... The beautiful thing about having various models available...
Also, to mention- YMMV (your mileage may vary)- My 401, I charge overnight and use all day, don't need my next battery until the evening & only if I am up late... I vape at the same rate that I smoked (1 1/2 - 2 packs a day, so about every 30 minutes or so a cig)... & vape production is great- Hit for me is great too! All a matter of preference...
510's have to be charged more often... & unless you only vape 3 or 4 times a day you must have experienced that... not to say it is a better or worse e-cig- just if you want to deal w/ a PCC all the time or just hook up and vape...again that would be something the OP would know about what he is looking for-
Okay, I tend to ramble on- OI know this- I hope my point didn't get lost in translation... & no hard feelingss as to your opinion, just trying to keep MY opinion out of the OP's decision making process and let him make his own assessment- I hope he is still able to do that based on our recent posts...
>>> I believe if my memory is correct the Blu is an L118b...

>>**> Hiya ladybug! Thx for noticing I change my avatar every few days... I like to show many different sides of the "Man w/ Mustache"- LOL ~Prince~ He is the man! Very talented artist-- ooops! IMO! I guess I should add that to my posts now... You must have read a few of my posts in the Women's Room... LOL

>>** DC2, Thx for adding that-
& to Pooferman- that is one of the posts you should definitely read- A few matters of opinion are listed there as well but a wealth of information that will be helpful for you!

** hope I didn't come off sounding combative here- not my intention at all- highping, you never know- one day I will try a 510- But my motivations and likes for vaping doesn't fall under the realm of a 510 at this time...I am glad I found my 401 before reading your thoughts on it... :)

There does seem to be two schools of thought.

(1) Provide information, and allow people the opportunity to make informed decisions
(2) Direct people to manual battery models to give them a better chance at success

I see both sides, but then I see both sides of pretty much everthing.
:D

Luv2CUSmile... You didn't come off as combative, and I hope I did not either, it was not my intention.
You are correct in that all this stuff is a matter of opinion. However, I think the opinion holds more weight when it is from someone that actually owns and uses both the models in question.
But like you said the blu is not a 401 so the whole conversation doesn't really apply to this thread anyway. (I think I will start a new thread for the 401 vs 510 argument)

I am also glad that you got your 401 before reading my thoughts. If you are happy with it and it is working for you, then it's obviously the right model for you. And if it keeps you from smoking, that makes me happy. For me, if the 401 had been my first model, my vaping life probably would have ended there and I would be back to 2packs a day.

Very Nice, Highping- & I am glad we have both found our preferred choice as well-
& you are right on someone who has and has used both models as a comparison to the two...
I have been a bit close minded to the 510 for myself but only due to the one factor of battery life- not from my own experience but from various threads of reports and reviews- It doesn't mean I will never sway that way- But, Yes, I am happy w/ my 401 for now... I like adventure though so may very well pick up a 510 at some time to check it out... No, I can't experiement w/ various models... I definitely don't have 5- my husband also vapes so that is how we got 2 different ones- & I was first going to order us the same but thought it smart to try 2 diff models to find which we preferred... and my husband prefers mine over his- At any rate, I hope all this is helpful for the OP because yes, the common goal is to educate on vaping in general... I am sure once he finds his preferred model many other questions will arise and he may find, as my husband- he'd prefer a different model altogether...
