New to vaping

Hello everyone I started vaping a few weeks ago, but still smoke a few cigs a week. Today I have smoke more just can't shake wanting nic today. I started off on a 12 nic and went down to 6 nic last time I got liquids. I am hoping this week coming up I will smoke no cigs. I want to start mixing my own liquids but I am a bit lost. Can someone tell me what I need? I have found some site that off a kit but I don't want 24 nic or 18 nic I am paying $15 for 30mls and I go through that in 4-5 days. Thanks in advance for any help.

It sound to me like you need MORE nic. With the correct nic level you can normally chain vape through any nic fits. Thus, going to 0 analogs per day and better health.

I am thinking of going back to 12 nic, I did really well with them. But being around smoking every day has made my vaping harder I think. Also i was told no more than 4 vapor hits at a time. i really want to start making my own liquids thou, can you tell me what I need to start making them.

There is a DIY section here at ECF. But You will need more posts, I believe 5 to become active there. Once You are able to use that section, do so. Read the stickies, browse the threads, and ask any remaining questions You may have.

It does sound like You may need more mic, but once You learn DIY, You can make liquid at what ever level You want.

If you buy pre mixed nic & 24mg you can cut it to 12 by mixing it 50/50 with pg. Check out the diy juice forum for sites to buy flavorings and bases. Many ecig sites and stores sell diy supplies as well. The biggest thing is to read up on proper mixing and handling of nic liquid.

Thanks I will look at that tread also. I am getting more liquids tomorrow I will tell her to up my nic I think I jumped down to fast. How long should one person vape each level of nic?

I have never heard of a limit on vapor hits. And I can assure You, that I and many others, I venture to say most far exceed 4 vapors hits at a time.

Keep a high nicotine bottle for the cravings and keep your low nic ones for regular vaping.

As for DIY, try to read the basics first and ask as many questions you have. Then get the basic supplies and exercise caution when handling pure nicotine. A lot of people buy premixed nic strength and others do the diluting by themselves. It all depends what you are most comfortable with.

I personally buy higher nic when I don't or am not able to vape much at a time and in a stressful situation (like around relatives, ugh).
Also the morning hours I vape higher nic. That being said, if you're not satisfied with your vaping and still desire cigs, I'd go up in nic. And welcome to the forum! Great bunch.

Sounds like you may need a 24mg nic rather than the 12. Then work your way down slowly... Do 2 bottles of 24, then 2 bottles of 18 and so on and so on....

Thanks for all the great advice, I will let my mixer girl know tomorrow to take me up on my nic. I still want to mix my own and ave more money but I am still lost as of what I need to start mixing

The first and MOST important thing You will need to start mixing is information. And the DIY section of ECF is an excellent place to to get this info. There You will find any answer You may have.

Depends on the flavor. I cut my 100 VG juices to 2/3 VG 1/3 pg. It doesn't affect the flavor, adds throat hit and I get 1/3 more juice . it also helps wicking in tanks. Vapor production also depends on hardware. Forgive me if I missed it but what is your setup?
